Yeah Cara has really optimized his run now which is pretty scary to think about considering how long so many of those screens are when it uses the FF9 encounter system. I appreciate the love. ♥ So I've spent the past week and a half working day and night on a project that was due this weekend, with hardly any time to play games. Now that the project has concluded, I'm at a bit of a loss of what to do. I could crunch the Keen time down a little bit more, but I've already got the WR, and with Cosmo's Wind Waker record taken and with AGDQ coming up, he's gonna be too busy practicing to try for the Keen 4 record again any time soon. I've been digging Raelcun's Mark of the Ninja runs, and it's pretty cheap on steam so I was thinking of getting it. Then I remembered I can't get my fucking XBox controllers to work on my PC, and I don't want to play it with the keyboard. Maybe I should just run some old obscure DOS favorites while I wait for inspiration to strike. I'd poll my stream viewers, but knowing them they'd just make me play Battletoads or something. | ||

Well if you want to get into FF9 I can probably give you a run down on any%. I don't know if anyone saw his splits, but it was red everywhere, he can clearly go under 4:40:00. And so does Cosmo. Edit : seems like Cosmo is trying atm ! :p | ||

I barely ever use guns so it's just Pistols and Rocket Launcher. General level setups is Dual-Swords & Gauntlets with Trickster or Swordmaster. There are changes for key sections, Sanchuks on a few bosses and Guitar on one. I really don't have a final list of things down yet but I am planning on using Royal Guard here and there. The run is not going to be the absolute fastest strats in a lot of cases so I will do a few interesting strats that may not be the fastest. I'm planning on Royal Guard because it's fun but I can't do anything flashy with it. Quicksilver might be used on a boss or two if it's ridiculously quick but I'm trying for more entertainment than speed I suppose. I'm putting a bunch of time into this and I'm hoping it isn't too little too late. I'm sure it won't live up to expectations any DMC3 fans will have. | ||
