I'm more upset that the GSL is offering these guys seeds, I'd think that jaedong rising to the top all the way through the qualifiers would be a better story. It seems by offering them a seed GSL is admiting that for the moment, the kespa players that have been given seeds just aren't capable of coming through the qualifiers. I'd be pissed off if I wasn't respected when I had that kind of skill.

I'm so excited for this GSL! We've got kespa players coming in, two foreigners, a ton of previous winners and talented players. This is gonna be a good one

I wouldn't be too sure, you need to remember just how much these guys practice, especially Jaedong.
You don't become a champion like him without mass practice and he could easily prepare builds with his team to deal with some of the players.
I don't think he'll win, but he could do well.

Code A offline qualifiers will be the first time since 2007 that Flash has had to go to one of these tournaments. He's been seeded in every OSL/MSL since then. Qualified for OSL his first try and MSL his second. Not saying he deserves an automatic seed for Code A or Code S, just pointing out the preliminaries are unexplored territory for him.
|
it's so hard to tell with the kespa players, especially after WCS, I could see jaedong absolute surprising everyone dominating, and securing his code-s seed (don't see him winning it soz) or I could see him being absolutely destroyed by existing code-s players.
|
I think Jaedong should be able to hold his own if he gets to practise more Starcraft 2 (Is he still practising Brood War?). The guy has amazing willpower and self management, works hard, is talented, practises a lot, and has Cezanne as a coach (Though I never really did follow Cezanne when he was in the scene, though he supposedly has good theoretical knowledge about the game).

NICE
wait no stork? ;;
wait no terran? XD
OSL kespa players r like all p/t, here is all p/z lol

the criteria for the seeds is nonsense.
imo should have jsut thrown them all into code a and let them work up. the pl results are hardly indicative of code s seed. gom is looking to immediately cash in on viewership with JD in code s. sigh.

WCS Korea: Roro (4), Jaedong (16) Proleague: Roro (8-6), Jaedong (10-9) OSL: Neither qualified Fangirls: Roro (3), Jaedong (456,245)
Your fan girl count is a little low, for JD anyways. I think Roro will make it to Code S and so do they, which is why the ensured JD got a seed. Seems like they're hedging their bet a bit.

Effort and the Dong, my two favourite players! Sweet.
|
Poor Terrans... didn't learn how to play until later and didn't get enough PL wins as a result
Oh well. Still got 3 pimp ass Zergs to root for, and Sun.
|
Poor Effort and Roro. While a Code A seed is awesome, they've been been doing better than Sun. Feel his spot should have been given to one of those two guys.
|
I dont understand for those people who are complaining that this or that player ain't code S 0_o is scoring system not enough? I do get how results are results but numbers are numbers aswell.
as for me, why no Flash!! =D
|
They chose a way to determin spots, and by doing so ended up with these results. Shit, JD might not be worthy yet, but I truly hope this will spur him on even more..
Just thinking about how JD will do once his decisionmaking is better and he's more familiar with the game gives me shivers... WANT TO SEE NAOOW <3

fixing the spawn locations is the number 1 priority imo, entombed and antiga are so much worse without it. Its honestly amazing blizzard hasnt dont this already. Also shak tal and condemned should go
|
Don't really agree with seeding the Kespa pros, but it'll be interesting to see how they do.
|
The real Dong has arrived.
Please tell me that Jaedong could royal road. It would make him more than a legend than he already is.
|
i didnt know that i was gonna start watching GSL again.
Jaedong wins it all
