Has he explained to you how this works? Why is a Canadian sponsoring an event in Europe with 18,000$ he just got from "somewhere"? Unless you know, why would you stake your reputation on Eywa?

I know that both you, Eywa and Elegant would have a lot to lose by this being some kind of bullshit scam, so I have no reason not to believe in the awesomeness of this.

Any questions? Don't be afraid to ask! i asked (and others), how this is being funded. why are you dodging this question?

It doesn't seem like much, however, this would take a big toll in the long run. It was evaluated in terms of priority and cost. In the end, it was given a very low priority with a very high cost = doesn't get done.

This information is inaccurate, it is indicated in thread that there will be a base count of qualifiers provided by the league, however, if the players and local fans want to see more, they may create proposals to host events attached to the league. The only two options available for assigning player per country qualifications of the 16 were statically or dynamically. Either way, I'm selecting how many from each country make it, however, one is based on the players and their performance, the success of their games and the other is simply based on events that took place 1/2 a year ago... I chose the first, which inevitably, leaves some grey area, however, I think it's better in terms of tournament quality. I already had assigned static entries before switching to this, so I have a good idea to what's going to happen, but I want to allow each country an even shot at getting the top rated. Also, given other concerns of the sort, small countries with few top players will be united into one group called "rest of Europe". Standalone countries are pretty well already determined, they are Poland, Germany, Hungary, Russia. A few others may join these, however, I kind of doubt there will be an abundance of them... If too many are considered "rest of europe", they will be sectioned into east/west/north/south.

Can any North American player participate, win a qualifier, and get an all inclusive trip to the finals or only those listed in the poll in the original post?

Also, why the police record thing? What's that about? Do you have any idea what you're asking for here?
