Smash/etc had it covered how the comp worked as a trad poke comp, but what really impressed me about CLG.eu's gameplay in that match was the incredibly punishing setup they had for anyone diving Kog or Anivia - not only Anivia's ultimate with the threat of walls/stuns, but stacking a Maokai ultimate on top of the Anivia ultimate + his root/knockup to peel anyone - anytime M5's Malphite/Irelia/Nocturne attempted to dive, not only did they get perma-CCed inside an Anivia ultimate and possibly walled off, but the 20% damage reduction due to the Maokai ultimate gave Soraka a very large window to heal people up (as well as Infuse spam Anivia/Mao as needed). There may have been less avenues for poking, but their sustain and disengage were pretty much unparalleled. | ||
