[UMS] Is it possible to make the forge spin?

_Zephyre_ France16 Posts December 09 2024 16:59 GMT #1 Hello folk, tl;dr: Is it possible to make the forge spin at a set time? I've been working on UMS to practice build orders. In ZvP, it's important to scout when the +1 attack starts being researched in the forge, so I would like to make the forge spin at a given time, but so far I have failed to do so. Is it possible, & if so, would you know of a way? Cheers

LML Germany1789 Posts December 09 2024 21:53 GMT #2 Your best bet would either be to give the CPU player that owns the forge enough resources to start an upgrade and then running an AI script (at location?). I don't know if that would work, but it's worth a try. There is no way to start an upgrade in a building or make it spin just like that. The only other way to do something to buildings is disabling the doodad state, not sure what effect this has on the forge, but easy to find out. Of course, with EUD this may very well be possible. But that would take some time to learn.
