I wish I knew about it some years ago. Thankfully I still have ~10 years worth of VODs to enjoy

Now that their eyes are on SC2, they'll milk it as much as possible and extort more money from tournament organizers, then they'll let the game rot. Disgusting. Yeah, that's why they just announced the world championships. To extort more money from tournament organizers. Maybe lift that stone you're lying under, and actually pay attention.

I can only hope that Starcraft 2 becomes a better game with time, and esports in Korea lives on beyond LoL.

Stop acting like they just suddenly brought it up and killed it.

Makes me sad I only have a limited time left in Korea before Kespa bans me from one of their leagues. Sucks T_T

We all know Kespa will put an end to Korean-foreign teamups and will put an end to it all. Makes me sad I only have a limited time left in Korea before Kespa bans me from one of their leagues. Sucks T_T Coach Ju Hoon mentioned SC2's global presence as being a major reason for switching. I don't expect them to exclude anyone, they can only benefit by working with the international community.

Sucks T_T If the LoL scene in Korea is any indication, OGN/Kespa will definitely be focused on expanding eSports past Korea. I can't seem them "excluding" foreign gamers from participating.

Dude, its not really Blizzard's fault... Its us, the people watching, sponsing etc. As the coach says, noone outside Korea play BW anymore, and the sponsors in Korea is also disapearing, in a very short time, the pro teams wont have money enough to be pro teams. I wish I knew about the BW scene before I got into SC2, I really do, and I hate to see it disapear bacuse I see how much it means to others, but its stupid to blame it all on Blizz... If it wasnt for them you would never have had the game anyway =)

Sucks T_T Kespa has never banned foreigners from their leagues (to my knowledge) so why should they do it now, especially when the foreign scene is much bigger?

Sucks T_T I hope this is a joke post lol. Foreigners were always "excluded" because the foreign scene was almost non-existant anyway, and the players sucked too much to compete with the koreans.

If it wasnt for them you would never have had the game anyway =) I blame ESTRO`s management. They could have gave Ret a progamer licence and the entire foreign scene would have shifted. CJ will field Greg Field with ESTRO fielding Jos De Kroon. Then as time goes on, more and more foreigners will start to catch up to the Koreans and solicify BW as a definition of a `sport`internationally.
