at the base of it all, few recreational drugs known in modern medicine cannot be used safely and responsibly just for the sake of having fun. a person who wounds up abusing them (especially opiates due to their introverted nature) rarely gets there because of trying to have fun, much less in a safe and controlled manner. like, say, most people approach alcohol because it's common sense to us. good luck to the op, stay strong  | ||

I think heroin is the best thing ever(from what I've read), but as I don't want to do it the rest of my life, I will never try it, as I'm afraid that the rest of my life will be bleak compared to it. | ||

On one hand, I just want to tell the OP that he's a retard (hear me out) - There is nothing to me that would justify doing heroin. I'm what I would consider a naturalist. I've fucked with chemicals here and there, but I will stick to my weed and my occasional low dose shroom trips because I don't want to wreck my body. On the other hand, I commend the OP for posting it because it's real. Not sure if it's a subtle reach for help or advice or whatever, but I'm sure on some level you know you shouldn't be doing it. TL is home to people from all walks of life. For all you know, Nyvone could be the biggest narcotic user on these boards (I mean, he does write up some pretty interesting ban poems!) and it sucks that people just came flying in here with their "Drugs are bad, mmkay?" attitudes. But basically, I just hope you kick this thing dude. I understand about taking the edge off of a shitty day, but you couldn't have picked a worse way to do it (short of meth, but as stated, that's more of a full retard drug). | ||

Sex is just awesome because it gives your mind all those pleasure sensations that we all desire instinctively... but it would not surprise me if heroin did much more than that to your mind in the sense of feeling awesome, happy and perfect. Drugs are much crazier than any high you can get naturally, and that probably includes sex. I am sure the pleasure of heroin lasts much longer as well - but i dont even actually know how long a "standard" high on heroin actually lasts. Tho i have never done heroin, but im just saying it wouldn't be a surprise to me. | ||
