When I try and turn it on, the standby light turns on but nothing else does, and I can't turn it back off without turning off the power supply. Last night, I jumpstarted the power supply following this guide: http://www.overclock.net/t/96712/how-to-jump-start-a-power-supply-psu-test-a-power-supply-and-components and then it was able to turn on. However, this morning, after 10 minutes of use, the desktop shut down during use, and when I tried to turn it back on, the standby light reappeared and wouldn't go away unless I shut the Power supply off. I tried jumpstarting it again, but it didn't work this time. I guess this means I need to replace the Power supply? Is it likely any of my other parts would be damaged? I need a solution. It's possible, but a decent PSU should prevent other components being damaged. But yeah, seems like a reasonable diagnosis.

One of your disks needs to be checked for conssistency. If I let it happen I get blue screen. I am ready to format , lol. Should I then? ( I got new motyherboard and cpu and GPU)

If it doesn't work, you need to replace your HDD. Since you didn't install properly when you rebuilt it, it makes it hard to be sure, but current HDD prices are still a bit nutty, so try the reformat/reinstall first for sure.

It's working on it. However, some problems will just happen over time, depending on usage and other random factors. Since prices are sky-high right now, odds are good it's actually going, instead of just having some minor problems that can be semi-fixed by the HDD ignoring certain sectors. Unless your HDD has performance issues anyways, yeah, I'd suggest holding out on until it proves itself generally unreliable. But again, the universe has a sense of humor, so since prices are bad, the HDD probably died. I've killed two since availability went into the shitter.

Well I have no experience with delta stuff outside of a server room :S Most companies that sell stuff that gets used in server rooms, probably can make something of reasonable quality. That doesn't guarantee anything about the quality of the non-server products though. They make a lot of OEM power supplies for Dell and so on, but actually those are among the best in class and much better than the cheap power supplies you can buy at retail. So in terms of volume IIRC they're up there, maybe the top? Delta doesn't make much for the retail market, even for other brands, so it's mostly just some Antec units and some Chieftec, maybe a few other globally. For these consumer models, the build quality ranges from good (e.g. Antec Earthwatts Green) to amazing (e.g. Antec High Current Pro 1200W). They actually have maybe the best reputation for build quality and reliability. Performance is good but only if you pay for it; for a budget unit like Earthwatts Green 380D, it's decent enough.
