Issue: https://tl.net/video/streams/airneanach doesn't show up in the right side bar when put online. He already filled out this form https://tl.net/video/newstream.php months ago. I read in the stream thread (https://tl.net/forum/user-streams/175682-how-to-stream-on-teamliquid) that inactivity can remove streams from the sidebar. Perhaps that's the issue? How can that be fixed though? Airneanach is a CSL (Chat StarLeague) host, that is also hosting 2 big BW LANs this year and we should definitely get his stream back on the sidebar!

I like to have multiple windows for different tasks in my browser for one example, work, admin stuff, rest and relaxation etc and bounce between them. Previously with 7, 10 or various Mac iterations I’d have a singular icon for say, Firefox and if I hover it’ll reveal the various windows associated. Now for some reason it’s displaying them all as individual icons on the taskbar and very quickly it gets filled and not especially ideal for usability. Hope that makes sense, I went digging and tried a few guides I found to fix this via tweaking the registry but no joy thus far. Anyone else had this issue and any tips? Much obliged in advance!

Hey, I now have the exact same issue, started just recently. I can join games sometimes but most of the time it just freezes and brings up 'starcraft has stopped working' and gives the option to wait (nothing happens if you do) or close the game.

i have a potential complicasted issue which i can't really put into technical lingo yet, so i am simply looking for a good way to post to my hardware support or search it online. I just update a PC and as it is my wife, and she is very allergic to doing somehting new from time to time, i did not do a clean install. I switched her previous motherboard, ryzen cpu und 16 gb ram with a new motherboard + i5 and 32gb of newer ram, then put it back into the same case and found out to my confusion and delight, that the old oem windows 10 would just run with the new specs. THought that was not possible, but okay. So then i gave it over to her and she started using it and immediately told me, that it was "laggy". So i used my win11 home that i bought, updated windows, still the same. Cleared harddrives a little moved stuff from the windows partition to have more space and installed all drivers from the motherboard again. Still issues. So, what is actually going on? Even with just windows explorer open the system has short freezes. Mouse cursor stops and then teleports where you wanted it to bee. Keyboard input is suddenly ignored or sometimes loops as if you hit a key 20 times. Stuff like that. It's happening a lot, like every few 10 seconds. Games are playable, and while this happens, load on CPU, SDDs, memory and GPU is extremely low. How would this be called? Micro stutters are usually things in games, google will find a billion entries but all with "insert game here" has microstutters and usually those are very specific and not hardware related.

Have you taken a look at the temps? If you did something wrong with the cooling setup, it is possible that the temps get high even with low loads, leading to thermal throttling. Another idea i would look at is RAM stuff. I remember having similar stutters to what you describe when windows was using the hard drive as virtual ram/using the swap file (I just had too little RAM for what i was doing). So maybe something is wrong with your RAM? Have you run memtest 86 yet?

It dpes mot seem performncereated at all, as it happening even when the system is basically idling. I had the suspicion that the SDD is the culprit, as it was a point of failure with the old system, but i am not sure if it is defect. on the old system, i had a m2 sdd without any cooling, just loosely hinging in a m2 slot anfd it would sometimes just disappear, probably due to lack of cooling. i fixed that with the new motherboard... Could be drive issue. Were you using XMP/DOCP?

The weird thing is both my analog headphone connected to audio port at the back and a different digital headphone connected to usb port at the front have the same problem, which makes me confused about the source because the hardware producing the sound and driver(?) is different for them. in Windows sound settings all enhancements are turned off. I tried restarting the audio service while the crackling was going on and it didn't change anything. my specs are: + Show Spoiler + cpu: Ryzen 5 5500GT ram: Team DDR4 3200Mhz PC4-25600 16 GB x 2 (32 GB Kit) network: TP-Link WiFi Wireless LAN, PCIe AX1800 mobo: MSI Motherboard A520M-A PRO gpu: AMD 5700xt os: windows 10 home in my old build I was using the same gpu but all other parts were different. The OS was the same, I just plugged my disk to the new build without reinstalling windows or anything and it worked. The old build didn't have this issue. Tomorrow I'll try a bluetooth headset to see if it also has the same problem...

There are other causes as well such as high/spiky DPC latency.
