Dat Hydra buff. I pray that goes through. I'm sick of Zerg having the worst AA in the game.
The ZvP matchup would be completely turned on it's head. Zerg's would be doing hydra busts or going 10 minute Hives for insanely early but powerful Hydra/Viper pushes.
That Tempest change literally changes nothing about late game ZvP though other than just kill buildings faster. Late game ZvP will still be boring as ever. It's not enough that the Tempest hard counters static defense (and BL) to begin with. It needs to hard counter them more.

Buffing hyrdas? Like zergs need cheaper units to max out even more easily. Blizzard is concerned about zerg in a zerg-favored matchup... what a joke.
Let's make no-skill muta switches (or any of the ridiculous tech switch options that are available to zerg) even stronger. That way every zerg player on the ladder can attack move more easily after going 3 hatch before pool and making 100 drones. If it doesn't work, nothing more fair than allowing an easier transition to a hard counter to whatever kicked his ass. As if the current map pool wasn't ridiculous enough...

PO nerf: Will change nothing for TvP or ZvP. Nerf the range or make it stop, if the MSC dies or goes too far away from the Nexus. There should be a chance to shut the PO down or Protoss will go on being greedy behind PO only defense.
Timewarp nerf: Nice to have, but to weaken blink all-ins? In which universe are Timewarps the problem with blink all-ins? Nerf the sight range of the MSC instead.
Ghost buff: Please, do not pretend to help Mech with this. It doesn't... it just further promotes Bio. Give Tanks +dmg on shields or something like this and we're talking.
Hydra buff: Sorry, but this is retarded. Hydras do work well yet. Maybe give them an upgrade for free (like the one proposed for the Ghost), but reducing their gas cost will break the game. Reducing their mineral cost might work.
Tempest buff: Yeah, give Protoss more tools to dominate the lategame and destroy the other races' ways to stand a chance there. Not needed... at all.

I'm pretty sure the hydra change is to prevent zergs from flat out dying lategame ZvP if the tempest change goes through, as the static defense/swarm host/viper strat was by far the most consistent way of dealing with with the void/tempest/HT clouds.

None of these changes really change anything.
Ghost change does actually, will make countering the templar openers easier. But still doesn't help with the problems. It's really frustrating expecting to see "ok we recognize that blink all ins are a problem, so we have made the reserach time longer so terrans have more lee-way". Instead we get "the blink all in is already insanely strong, so we're not going to change anything about it but make a tiny, almost insignificant part of it slightly weaker"

Hydras have needed a buff since 2010. Whether 100/25 is the best course of action we'll see.
For some reason the community has always thought hydras were ACTUALLY GOOD versus SOMETHING, when they've been complete and total crap in every single matchup since 2010.
The few strats they sort of work in shouldn't even get play in pro matches because there's always better alternatives to making hydras.
Other then that, hydras current use is to hope your macro skills are better than your opponents so you can quickly kill them.

They're good now. But only after you've dumped 300/300 resources into upgrades midgame before making a single 100/50 Hydra.

That was a mistake, Protoss needed no reduction in cost for anything. Terran upgrades should be made cheaper by 100 minerals and gas as well as 60 seconds shorter in duration. That should restore balance as it was before hellbat nerf. Another silly mistake.

Making the range upgrade researched by default for hydras is a better choice, I think. It's the only unit in the game that needs two expensive upgrades to be viable. Make them cost 25 gas seems too much. IDK... Must test.

Brilliant idea! Having 13 range Hydras at Hive is a step in the right direction for fixing the silly imbalanced Protoss favored PvZ late game. Would you also agree with me in suggesting increased damage and life to Locusts? I believe that this change in correlation with your 13 range Hydras will truly make the game more fun and balanced for everyone who matters. <3 <3 XOXOX

Actually going to punch myself in the dick in frustration over these changes. More the TvP ones, many other more elegant tweaks have been suggested. A 10 second cut in photon overcharge does nothing, at least from my point of view. The timewarp change isn't much better really, at least in terms of affecting blink allins. Cutting things like the MsC's vision range to make it an actual risk to use it to spot for blinks by requiring it to get in closer and personal were worth looking at before this imo.
