Reading this in 2025 while watching multiple esports tournaments right now just makes me feel like Proleague was really the most exciting esports tournament series there ever was. I generally don't like team series much, but the culture around Proleague was great, and the frequency of ace matches made the league format feel exciting week-to-week.

I dont know why. But I find it soo funny when the caster that are SOOOO hyped to see the celebration from MC starts saying "OOOH, so he's trying to drink a lot of water?". I mean, I love that he still has a lot of hype in his voice, but IF MC's celebration was that he was TRYING to drink a lot of water... it might have been the worst celebration ever (or maybe it goes a full 360 and becomes the best celebration ever... its MC after all)

i think this was our first day down stairs next to the korean casters so we had a front row seat to the mc shenanigans. as a result i think we watched it happen in person instead of through the PVM

we were also excited because mc was one of the few koreans that would talk to us during makeup so secretly we wanted him to win

also in my defense, wwe was not a thing growing up in australia
