let's see... gl Nani you really deserve it!!! Sorry but you are nuts. there is no way Naniwa can get 50k on his own.

While this might be true in a lot of cases; how does it make sence in this one? The winning player will have a higher skill level this week, regardless, whether he is swedish or korean. Making a case for the skill level being lower, if the winner of a qualification match advances, does make absolutely 0 sence.

I have a difficult time understanding this attitude in what's supposed to be a Global tournament. If I watch a Global tourney in any sport I want to see competitors from multiple nations (33% (ballpark) maximum from the same nation).
You're right that Koreans have proved themselves to be better but if you want to watch Korean vs Korean all the time you have GSL, OSL, and Proleague.

Naniwa is on the skill level of Koreans if he beats Revival because he: 1. gathered enough points 2. beat Revival head to head
Where is your point?

Is there going to be some sort of live report on Team Liquid? I'm at school so I can't watch T.T

But Revival isn't one of those players. Naniwa has consistently shown far superior play than Revival. Revival is one of he worst players left. Poor mechanics, poor map awareness, spends too much time spamming instead of actually getting things done, and poor decision making.

In this situation, you're wrong. NaNiwa is a multiple-time Ro8 Code S finisher, and Revival is mid-low tier Korean. It will be a better tournament with NaNiwa in it, overall.
Even if he wins NaNi has to play freaking Soulkey next anyway.

How can that be played at Blizzcon (like they said before), when they open their doors not before friday?

I fine with both of them, im a fan of EG an like to see foreigners. So the outcome is not that importend to me. But Naniwa is NOT highly favoured. He can loose to Revival without beating himself. Revival had good games even in PL and finished second in WCS USA 1 (?) and won IEM Shanghai. Naniwa has horrible loosing streaks alternate with great play. Everything can happen. You misunderstood my point. The point was, that all depends on his mentality on that day. If he is in a good mental form, he can take out Revival. It was not about Revival being week up to the point that Naniwa would have to throw him the games.
Anyway, only 2h left, this will be interesting, as this is a $5000 worth best of 5.

So... What is going on?... Why there is even no thread for this game? This sucks, nobody is going to watch the most important game of the year!!!
(For trolls: it's an intentional exaggeration ;P)

Thanks! It's weird though, cause this game starts a couple of days before the Blizzcon.

Definitely rooting for Naniwa, since it would be awesome to have a European player in the Blizzcon, but I also think that Revival deserves the spot should he beat Naniwa, even if he really got lucky because of the IEM mistake by the ESL.
