I basically have quit HoTS, but I have hope for LoTV. On November 07 2013 02:43 Plansix wrote: This is one of the most passive agressive, emo posts about SC2 I've seen. I wasted 45 minutes watching those trash games. But I'm still happy Naniwa won. And if that is passive aggressive, so be it.

Now, do I expect every game to be amazing and entertaining? No, but that doesn't mean I can't get upset when games aren't good, or get excited when games are good. I was upset that those games were so bad, and I have that right because I value my time. If you want to be upset that I am upset, you have that right too. You guys are reading way too much into what I said.

Expecting them to be amazing is not the best thing one can do, since his playstyle in general produces one-sided games or games where opponent chokes away lead.

I don't know how many Naniwa games you have seen but I have seen a lot of games where he have shown stunning micro, innovative strategies and great holds. The games against Revival was boring not because of Naniwa, but because of Revival who just played them out really bad.

Or Naniwa took advantage of a timing that his opponent wasn't prepared for and through mircro and positioning, beat his opponent despite Naniwa being at a disadvantage.

was a bit odd series tbh... Revival seemed soo uninspired/meek.. Nani didn't have to reveal any special tacs, which was perfect for his Blizzcon-match vs Soulkey (also zerg). Almost like they had agreed to limit the tacs even or just Revival heavily underestimating, but that shouldn't be poss rly, but maybe in seeing himself as superior, really believing he can out-micro him whatever... or just not up to par with the current meta at all or maybe too few top-games lately. anyways, perfect set-up for Nani !! I'm happy!! And I think he will reach the finals IF he advances vs Soulkey, he has a good chance tbh. Even though it's one of the toughest players in the full bracket. A true Dragon vs Swedish Steel ! Soulkey is extremely well-rounded and overall strong/able/experienced but Nani can be so sharp and untouchable/cool. Think his "burst" will overcome Soulkeys "consistent high damage".. Nani has been outstanding lately, in all aspects! Judging by last months I give him 40-50% chance - if he's performing well, ie considering Blizzcon podium/the stakes etc (aka having the right mental state of mind ie not putting bad pressure on urself etc. Be focused but relaxed as well, and if poss getting into "the zone" to swipe SK). He is, after all, named the Dragonslayer (slayer of best koreans). MC and Nani are both two players that has been on the rise for some time now, accumulating... continuously improving last months, getting much more stable and sharp etc and with few losses over that period, building up confidence, winning a lot of hard matches, in good shape for Blizzcon. That pattern makes it possible to believe that they might even peak their best ever! (and be able of challenge Dear, so lonely up there in the sky?). How will Bomber perform, in what shape? MMA looks on the rise but still a bit weak, need more time? Hero vs sOs : think sOs the stronger, interesting to see if sOs will perform like a contender for the championship? Polt vs Alive : Alive is among the weakest players in the tournament atm, Polt should be able to advance. But he have not had the right time/build-up period for being able staying on top over a longer time, due to his studies. And he's been "slowing down" some lately. Still in the middle of this field though and a tough opponent. Also guessing his micro will have improved some over the last 2 weeks of training, he might reach the semis if so. Strongest Players atm : Dear is ahead ofc - upper - SoulKey > sOs > Polt or Naniwa/sOs > Polt Innovation vs Dear > MC - lower - Innovation is the true, dangerous dark horse former no1, now in long hiding&preparing for peaking at Blizzcon and reclaim everything!! Even though the Terrans has lost it's edge some? Will we see new Terran meta? Almost needed tbh... the race war and meta with these players OMG! All match-ups could be grand finals anywhere. hope the games will exceed everything imagined hehe, that it is well produced! and that the virtual ticket really is worthwhile!
