I think we've been lucky with this. In the other thread (I think I have both open now), this seems to have been cleared up and Amanda has been able to contact David Ting and the money seems to be able to work out.

I'd like to help, maybe loan some of the money until IGN can reimburse the funds but 1. 500k php is not chump change (my credit card maxes out way below that) and 2. The amount isn't something you can loan out without a 100% guarantee of reimbursement.

Instead of donating to pay to get Amanda out of trouble, how about we donate to arrange a debt collector to find him and make him pay instead, I think it would be cheaper and would be more just for all the parties involved.
