It is ok. The 3 Gate VR all-in will be replaced by the 3 Gate Robo all-in in HOTS, and be a BO win vs the 1-1-1. Just chrono out 3 Replicants and go copy the first siege tank that comes out of the factory. You'll have 3 tanks with siege mode vs 1 tank without siege mode. Push and win.

This is in an alpha state... It hasn't even made it to beta yet. Not exactly a finished product, so i'm not sure how much I would over react.

finallly a sensible change that makes absolute fucking sense. so many times has a pylon warped into my base form the low ground it's so fucking stupid that protoss can do that and they call it "strategy" and "hard to do" lol all theydid was get an observer and warp in. No more voidray all ins and having to defend my main and natural at he same time phew. Also those who say that it doesn't punish greedy builds, well it's about damn time protoss is forced to play macro. anyway, if anything they really should change the radius back

this will prevent deezeresque-fags from cannon rushing low-high ground, as well as low-high gateway cheese, if you're that concerned with warping units onto the high ground get a warp prism, I heard they are good now.

Also ruins bases connections to low ground naturals/3rds. Not a good idea.

I'd love this change if it means we get back our old Pylon radius (and warpin in ramp if we have a pylon on highground please. There have already been a ton of situations where I have my units parked on the ramp to stop lings, and I can't warp in anywhere near them to help out).

This will eliminate a lot of cheese, most of which is only used in PvP, that only serves to make the game a bit more random.

Afaik, this change only works for pylons on the lowground. If its on the highground, you can still warpin on the lowground beneath it.

Really hope this does not become a reality. It will take away so many options and creative play :/

Edit: I guess we'll get rid of cannon rushing, which is nice, but still... so not worth it imo

The ability to warp-in inside a Terran's walled-in base (without a prism, but with an obs) and do a little harrassment can sometimes be pretty useful.

Its so good now, that's why they have changed it. Also blizzard have been known to make changes based on 2v2+ balance before, z/p can be a brutal combo with overlords and pylons warping into your base, that may have something to do with it.

The high ground/low ground warp in mechanic is cheesy, anyone who says it isn't is wrong. When I lift rax outta my base to get marines to the fight more quickly, I know is cheesy. How is this not the same?

Its a good change, I like it =]

I think this change is fine tbh, and I'm a Protoss player. They're giving protoss free mass recalls and a new harass unit (successful or unsuccessful? who knows?). Meanwhile, the other races aren't really receiving any great harass tools. Obviously this would be a terrible change in the current metagame, but for HotS I think it will be fine.
We found Dove in a soapless place.
