I'm in the US, and have a US client. Many of my friends, some of which live on the same street, are able to connect with no problems. I've tried restarting my computer multiple times, and I'm at a loss as to what to do. I've seen that some others have a similar problem, but haven't seen any fixes.
Does anyone have any suggestions? This is very frustrating, heh.
Seriously brotha, if you read a couple of posts up on page 23, you will see the fix. Add a Vanilla WoW Trial account to your bnet account. Its been confirmed by many people, including myself.

So my dumb ass is the one who needs to learn how to read. Good looks.
I apologize for being the idiot who didn't read! Luckily it is almost 5 and I am done with work for the weekend!

No worries, I'm just hoping someone will be able to help.

A. That's not a fix, that's a work around. Those who have used up their trial accounts can't do this.
B. That isn't his problem.

You are absolutely correct. The problem is that I am at work, looking at a tiny box window of this website that is barely small enough to display half of the title bar, and I can only check it for about a minute (since there are constantly people staring at my screen) so I definitely misread his post, and proceeded to incorrectly describe the temporary resolution to the problem. I do appreciate you clarifying.
Hope you have a beautiful weekend, brotha!

I have another issue and have also sent in a support e-mail to blizzard, but was wondering if there was anyone else with it.. I am just recently getting this error when I attempt to login.. "You need an authorized language pack from Blizzard Entertainment to use this language"

Had the exact same problem and also sent in an e-mail to the support at blizzard. I posted it on pg 22. No resolution to the problem yet unfortunately...we can just wait and hope.

Goto: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/trial/
Select the image on the right - it says, "World of Warcraft, New to World of Warcraft?" Go through the process of adding a trial. It should add it for you (make sure you use your battle.net e-mail address). It might tell you that you already have a subscription, but then after you finish, it should prompt you to 'sign-in' - click that and then it should add the trial for you. Then wait five to ten minutes and log-in to Starcraft II Beta. If it hangs or takes a long time, restart and give it a few more minutes.
Let me know if you have any problems and I will be more than happy to help.
EDIT: I am not asserting this will work correctly on 100% of the affected users, however, it certainly worked for me and has been confirmed by others, so I am hoping it will work for you.

Anyone else having issues with 5.1 surround sound working after this new patch? I had surround sound before the patch but now I'm only getting sound out of the front speakers. I've tried changing the audio device and stuff but I'm not getting anything.

Ok so I don't know what the hell is going on but I just disconnected all 5 placements and got into bronze LOL. GJ BLIZZARD!

I played wow a few years back and it's still in my b.net account.. I wonder if I can activate a trail with the full game on my account.

eh im in diamond, just got disconnected my last like, 6 games.

I think massive droppings/disconnections are happening atm (maybe because EU server is up(? This is based off a random thread...so I don't know))
disconnects are painful...
|
I've seriously won my last 4 games in a row because my opponent disconnected/crashed each time. Lost 3 of my placements because it was happening to me too.
Not too worried since it seems to be a widespread issue with the last patch but just thought I'd mention it for the other people who are having that problem.
|
Additional disconnect here, I hadn't experienced any problems until two minutes ago.

GJ BLIZZARD! eh im in diamond, just got disconnected my last like, 6 games. You're in diamond, great. That has nothing to do with what he was talking about unless you disconnected your way into diamond. It's not like we thought only placement matches were facing disconnects.

Phew Im glad im not the only one disconnecting I disconnected twice today for losses and another time the player left and I got neither a win nor a loss WTF lol and the other day it seemed like whenever my sc2 minimized it would freeze for an auto loss T_T

Hi Can anyone help me please?
I am in the EU and the servers are up now but I deleted my client after phase 1 and am now on a different computer and when I try to download the client off battle.net it keeps saying file not found
Is there any way around this? or can I download the client anywhere else?
Thanks
