New Patch Issues

in your starcraft 2 beta folder go in support folder
right click in the support folder create->txtfile write
set patchlist eu-beta.patch.battle.net:1120/patch
in it and rename it to realmlist.stf
try doing this. (taken from glurio's post i the "new patch is up tread") worked for me

I don't think the US patch servers are up yet.

I tried reinstalling the game, but the game can't update to the last patch. I see the launcher for few seconds, then it launch the game 1.0....

Am I stuck ?

And then write Realmlist.stf, but choose "All Files" in the "Save as type" dropdown

Tried rebooting, but that did not help.



Edit: Repair.exe did not help, just says it cant find correct information, reinstall game.

Upon this problem occuring, the updater crashes and closes

Not sure what this originates from. Anyone else getting this problem?

Then double click the Blizzard Updater then I get a There is no patch file message and nothing happens.

I also run SC2 and nothing happens, as in I boot up on an old version (still have the black and yellow loading bar) and nothing is updated - I'm just kicked out with the same message "Invalid version. Please try again later".

EDIT:
nvm I seem to be doing the right thing, I'm gonna try a few other suggestions but it doesn't seem like the patching is the problem.

EDIT: I have fixed it and will detail how:
Reinstall
Manually patch till you get a realmlist.stf
Save the realmlist on your desktop.
Reinstall
Put the saved realmlist to your Support folder
Run and patch

Just thought I should put this here as my post is 2nd and on first page

You do not need to install all, I only had to go up to 0.4 till I noticed I had a realmlist.

The error always happens after the patch download completes and then attempts to install. For this patch that happens at 70%.

One of two things happen at this point. Either you click "continue," "try again," or "cancel" till your blue in the face. Or wait and the updating window will go away and with one click the error message will go away.

Reopening the updater will result in the same process taking place all over again.

The error message is

This maybe an XP64 issue, that is the only strange thing about my system.
