Very much to my dismay I found that I was unable to log into beta despite the server being up. I can log in, but it doesn't seem to find my account info or display my icon, and then redirects back to login when I hit "enter". I'm assuming this is related to us.battle.net being down, but I didn't find anything on TL about it. Does anyone have any information about this?

Edit, now it lets me login to the "welcome to SC2" screen before telling me Bnet is unavailable.

The maintenance was supposed to go until 11am PDT.

It isn't far past that so I'd give it a few moments before panic sets in.

Before posting this thread I checked the SC2 page, searched, and looked at the Bnet status page. (which is filled with 75% troll discussion and a bunch of incoherent posts saying its up or down). If I somehow missed something then the mods can go ahead and delete the thread. I wouldn't feel the need to make another thread if the Bnet status one was actually filled with people talking about Bnet status.

Same here, can log in but when I get to the main bnet menu the game says that bnet might be down or something like that.

There's also a little pop-up window on the lower left of the login sequence that states:

"All achievements are disabled until further notice."

And then it boots me stating that I need to check my connection. -_- Sucks too because I was about to do a screen grab and show everyone their first glimps of a Xel'Naga warrior! (in portraits!)

No idea, but perhaps a mod should be contacted to update the Bnet status page to down? Or is it automated?

Apparently they extended the time for the WOW server update so that probably applies for us too... I heard in the "official" thread that it will be an extra hour.
