...It’s no secret the Gündogan had the intention to leave Borussia Dortmund in 2014, but due to his injury his career did not go as straight forward as he initially had planned. Adding a year to his deal that ran until 2015 was hardly a commitment, rather than simply postponing the departure. Now Gündogan is favoured in several reports by credible sources in Germany to even extend his deal with Borussia Dortmund for two more years. His father and agent Ilhan Gündogan was quoted by Süddeutsche Zeitung: “Dortmund is an option again. A lot speaks for it, as it will be easier für Ilkay to find back to his old level in familiar and comfortable surroundings.” His manager also revealed, that Gündogan and Thomas Tuchel are in contact. Tuchel’s ideas are apparently intriguing enough for “Ilkay to consider it...
Talks from everyone about BVB getting totally dismantled after this past season and we might not even lose a single quality player...
:D
why would you want to keep gündogan hes not good atm and he is going to leave as soon as he gets good again
Because
1) Yes, he is good. He may not be great, but he's good, and with time he can recover from his injury and improve.
2) With another year, it gives him time to recover and improve his form, which will then result in a much higher price tag for him a year from now.
I agree. Gündogan staying is definitely the best option for Dortmund. Some Dortmund fans just have hurt feelings.
You know what hurt my feelings? When I stood there watching our game against Juventus with Gündogan avoiding every single defensive challenge that would've been so important for the team. And when I saw that again against every team in the whole Bundesliga except in the game vs Schalke when in a massive effort he assisted Mkhi.
That is about 50% on Klopp on playing him all the time even though he was shit and 50% on Gündogan because he seems to be afraid to get injured again. Gündogan worked because of Sahin for some time. He might improve again and we'll all be happy but our feelings aren't hurt because he said he wanted to leave but because he wasn't giving his everything. Lewandowski's advisors were worse but in the 90 minutes when football was the only thing that counted you would never notice that Lewandowski wanted to play for another club.
And you have to remember that because of media reports everybody thinks that Gündogan leaving would've earned 20m € this summer. It's not only about his skills but the potential money the club might earn. Add that after the last season most people would've liked to see more drastic roster changes you get a situation that makes Gündogan the perfect player to sell.
I understand where you are coming from, but it's doubtful that any club would have paid 20 million € for Gündogan this summer and Tuchel doesn't seem to think that Dortmund could get a cheap adequate replacement for Gündogan. With Kehl gone two defensive midfielders would have to be replaced.
On the other hand it's likely that Gündogan will get better and that his market value increases. His injury or lacking match fitness was obviously still a factor in his "lacklustre" performances.

Yeah nobody understands that one....he is a striker with "problems on his finishing ability"....wtf?! A striker that can't score a goal to save his life for 7M€!? fun. Oh and if he was like a false 9 or a playmaker that didn't score but created a lot of chances for others it would be fine....but no, he is a pure striker, only there to score goals but cant actually score them o.O

Be fun i guess ill see if i can catch the semi finals but at midnight on a weekday will have to be something special to entertain me.
England vs. Japan will probably look like a classic Barcelona vs. Chelsea in terms of playstyles against each other. Japan is the most technical passing team in the tournament and England likes direct play and set pieces and doesn't mind defending a lot.

Yeah they have some strange thing about Portuguese bad strikers. Someone must be putting a lot of money in their pockets with this transfer....no other way I can explain this.
BTW if Eder all of a sudden starts scoring goals making me look dumb, I don't mind you guys quoting this in reply to every post I make on TL from that point onwards.

It's not only you. Eder can't score a goal to save his mother...
But you never know. Between Nelson Oliveira and Eder. At least nelson runs

Mendes is related with everything. He is with Cristiano, with Valencia owner Peter Lim and with Valencia coach Nuno. He will control the world soon.
He already controls most of the top teams and makes shady business between the teams he "controls", bascially just see where benfica players go and thats where mendes is xD

well i miss players like that playing for any team lol football losing its magic :'<
Guy that found cristiano ronaldo says that nowadays its harder to find players with creativity like that cause since young age they format them to play in certain tactics and dont let them be free, and also cause theres less street soccer than before. anyway dont know whats up with brasil since you guys have a huge talent pool...
Cech to Aresnal is nice. He had to go somewhere, he can't just sit on the bench all season again no matter how much he's paid. Although Begovic has been rumoured to want a year sitting around doing nothing on ridiculous pay. Arsenal needed a better keeper and I can see them doing well this next season. Just how well is the calculation Mourinho is doing in his head. Are they really a title threat?
In other unrelated nonsene thoughts Watford have been playing as Udinese's B team for a few seasons now. Not quite as ludicrously a couple of seasons ago where the manager would litterally bring in 11 players from Udinese some weeks. (The Football League actually changed it's rules to stop that happening). But with their promotion to the Premier League does that make Udinese Watford's B team? Just by been in the Premier League Watford will have more income than Udinese now.
edit: How drunk was I when I wrote that? Anyway edited into English roughly now.
