It makes perfect sense for me, it fits into no politics in football rhetorics, which is pretty much the only thing they are consitent with.

Although Begovic has been rumoured to want a year sitting around doing nothing on ridiculous pay. Arsenal needed a better keeper and I can see them doing well this next season. Just how well is the calculation Mourinho is doing in his head. Are they really a title threat? In other unrelated nonsene thoughts Watford have been playing as Udinese's B team for a few seasons now. Not quite as ludicrously a couple of seasons ago where the manager would litterally bring in 11 players from Udinese some weeks. (The Football League actually changed it's rules to stop that happening). But with their promotion to the Premier League does that make Udinese Watford's B team? Just by been in the Premier League Watford will have more income than Udinese now. edit: How drunk was I when I wrote that? Anyway edited into English roughly now. Watford is owned by the son of udinese and seville. All three are there to make money by buying prospects and developing them. Without euro play Watford will still probably be below the other two as long as they stay in that bottom half of the bpl.

That is a fucking unbelievable decision. The man seems like a nutter, but canning him after that escape and playing really good football for big parts of the season? The father paying for the sins of the son is the only reason I can come up with.

FIFA President Sepp Blatter will not travel to Vancouver for the final of the women's World Cup on July 5 and has told organizers that personal reasons will prevent him from going, a U.S.-based lawyer for Blatter said on Tuesday. The lawyer, Richard Cullen, said he would not comment beyond what Blatter has told the organizers. Senior executives of Zurich-based FIFA were charged with corruption in the United States on May 27 over bids for major soccer tournaments and Blatter came under pressure to step down. It will be the first time Blatter has not presented the trophy to the winners of the women's competition, which is held every four years, since he became FIFA president in 1998. Reuters

While it's true that Silva was probably the main reason Brazil lost, its still an ass thing to do. I am pretty sure he already feels horrible enough.

Poor pearson i knew that was coming though personally. He might have saved them but being sacked then reinstated i always knew this was on the cards. New blood for next season means they will be favourites to go down.

Angerer (the best name) kind of brain farted on a weird cross. Solo then had a similar brain fart on an easy shot she should have caught. Rapinoe did a nice cut to give herself tons of space and just flubbed a weak grounder to the goalie at least no Wombach's old ass up front
