Oh I think you are absolutely right about the physical aspect but just look at that video. At least 50% of his dribbles are stopped by blatant FOULS. Not just physical contact. It is kinda sad imo when fouling players is part of the games tactic and skill...

Well not like Messi is a saint either..

For me he is awesome. He receive thousands of fouls and he never dives and rarely complain to the referee. You only have to see that youtube video and you will see how he always try to continue the play until the end.
Compare it to others players like Neymar, Cristiano, Robben, etc. They fall to the grass when they receive a light hit, but Messi always try to continue.

I am talking about Messi fouling. Messi gets a lot of leeway from referee, I have seen a few games where other players would have been sent off with a yellow-red but he was't.
I'd rather the referees call every contact a foul and send Messi off when he deserves it rather than other players fouling Messi and Messi fouling others both sides without punishment

...It’s no secret the Gündogan had the intention to leave Borussia Dortmund in 2014, but due to his injury his career did not go as straight forward as he initially had planned. Adding a year to his deal that ran until 2015 was hardly a commitment, rather than simply postponing the departure. Now Gündogan is favoured in several reports by credible sources in Germany to even extend his deal with Borussia Dortmund for two more years. His father and agent Ilhan Gündogan was quoted by Süddeutsche Zeitung: “Dortmund is an option again. A lot speaks for it, as it will be easier für Ilkay to find back to his old level in familiar and comfortable surroundings.” His manager also revealed, that Gündogan and Thomas Tuchel are in contact. Tuchel’s ideas are apparently intriguing enough for “Ilkay to consider it...
Talks from everyone about BVB getting totally dismantled after this past season and we might not even lose a single quality player...
:D

Right, so Bournemouth bought a left back for £8M (source). Pretty big fee. I guess they're opening the chequebook now.

Someone want to explain why Ramos is being able to leave Real Madrid potentially and why Man Utd want him in England as well. I think he is a good centre half but would so struggle in England. I mean the likes of Arbeloa and Pepe still manage to get games in Real yet they are about to let their best defender leave just to try and get a goal keeper in exchange, makes little sense to me.
Would assume that they will throw alot of money at Varane to force him to stay because rum ors he wants out, very strange. Plus with Rafa in charge i would have expected him keeping a strong defense and shipping Pepe out and maybe Varane if they wanted funds. Real are so fucking confusing xD
Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk over the €35million transfer for Brazilian international Douglas Costa, according to reports in Germany.
That is also interesting, guess he is a very quick and skillful player but i thought he wasn't at the level to break into Bayern's 11 anytime soon but i guess Pep thinks he can! Interested to see how he does at a big club, i am fan and wish Chelsea got him instead of Cuadrado (at the moment anyway )

It is very easy. Ramos wants a 10 million salary contract as captain of the team. Real Madrid offers him 7 millions. And Ramos is blackmailing Florentino.
I think he will continue in the team at end.

ramos is so freaking good tho

CHICAGO (June 25, 2015) - The U.S. Open Cup Adjudication and Discipline Panel has suspended Seattle Sounders FC forward Clint Dempsey a total of six U.S. Open Cup matches or the next two years of U.S. Open Cup competition, whichever is greater. The suspension is due to his actions during the U.S. Open Cup match between Seattle Sounders FC and Portland Timbers on June 16, 2015. press release
So for anyone that thought the Dempsey ban was too soft, this is a minimum two maximum six year ban, depending on when his team drops out.

edit: first round not year

Because
1) Yes, he is good. He may not be great, but he's good, and with time he can recover from his injury and improve.
2) With another year, it gives him time to recover and improve his form, which will then result in a much higher price tag for him a year from now.

Could be a lifetime ban... from US open cup. but it's just the us open cup.

Roberto López (tattoo artist): "I received a WhatsApp message telling me 'Hi I'm Leo'. He received my number through a mutual friend."
I had a clear idea, but I had to find the images and compositing it."
"He, personally, organized the trip. He didn't delegate it to anyone."
"He picked me up at the hotel. He drove the car and helped me to load my suitcase in the car."
"I traveled two times to Barcelona. And, as details remain to be polished, we will come back after the Copa América."
"He's very resistant to pain. We had 3 sessions in 1 week, something extraordinary I haven't done with someone else"
"I received a great reward from Leo, but I will not say how much. He gave me shirts, pants... and money."
"We did it at his home, in the living room. He offered me if I wanted anything and he told me I could ask anything I want. Anything."
"We agreed that he will tattoo me something. He did me a 10 on the right wrist. "
"One day he presented me Neymar, whom I made a couple of tattoos, at Messi's home. He also gave me shirts and stuff. I almost cried."
Hi sir, it's me, your Leo. lmao Oh boy, how awesome is that and he offered anything he wanted, oooo, what would I have asked for in that position? A 1v1 mby, I'd probably break his leg and he'd still win, lol.

I am disappointed about this tranfer. 35 milion is way to much for player with such a big questionmark. If we really want an offensive player with perspective there are alot of better and cheaper options. I dont get it - this guy is going to be the 3rd expensive signing in club history?
I really hope we still sign a big name who can really step into the footsteps of robben / ribery

Sorry you are right, I did not assume they would bomb out of the cup so soon. True.
Sorry once again.
