C'mon did anyone seriously think he was going to get out of this group? I would have loved to see a foreigner advance and was cheering for him, but realistically he had no shot.

If that happens I will be angry at Gom if they continue to invite foreigners to Code S. Foreigners do NOT deserve to get those seeds over hard working koreans that spend their every waken moment practicing this game because they did well at a subpar tournament. HSC and Code S today continues to prove that foreigners still are far behind.

Just finished watching Game 1 of Sen vs Boxer, Sen had many opportunities to seal the deal.

Its only a all-Korean format because the foreigners either don't try to get through, or didn't succeed. Gom bend over backwards to try and get the foreigners to the GSL, but we've seen the results

Although losira was like the best ZvP few months ago and suck at ZvT, losira has lagged behind in his ZvP lately but seems to have improved on his ZvT. So i do think he would stands a btr chance than Sen in this group. He can most likely take down Boxer, and mayb even Ganzi....

GOM knows it, hence why they left Idra to be the last person to be introduced at the beginning. Yeah it's a business but they've also arranged for themselves to be the most serious league with the toughest competition. They lose some of that when they seed players based on popularity.

1. haters 2. trolls both should be starved of the attention they crave. Jjakji deserves his spot. I also agree with darkest44; for some reason I can't put my finger on, I dislike Ganzi. I recognize his skill, he has real class; I just often find myself wishing he's lose. Haha. Congratulations anyway to Ganzi and Jjakji. I hope Boxer survives Code A, and I hope Sen adjusts quickly to the ruthless nature of the GSL tournament and survives as well.

And I'd wager that inviting foreigners is a good stepping stone to giving the best of them experience, laying the groundwork for one of them to go far and maybe even win. And didn't you have fun watching Sen, even though he lost? Isn't it nice to see how he did? He wasn't destroyed, not by a long shot. He took his lumps very well.

I'd rather see someone play that worked for their spot instead of being handed it based on popularity and country of origin.
