I hope GSL bought a lot of pizza today for July and Leenock.

Also believe Ganzi should advance pretty easily with either Losira/July behind and then Genius sneaky snaking his way to the Ro16 like usual with Leenock using his ZvT to propel him into the Ro16.

Should be good matches. All solid players (well, I don't like HongUn, but he does win a decent amount) including a couple protoss. Plus it's one of the top TvZers with some zerg matches and one of the top ZvTers with some terran matches, usually makes for good games.

I have a very hard time predicting tomorrow's groups.
In group E I have no idea who will win in both opening games. July could beat hongun, Hongun could beat July. Ganzi could beat Losira and vice versa. The winner of second match should go 2-0, but that's not even sure if it's Ganzi vs July.
Really I have no clue, well, that's exciting.

Group F Happy rolled over Genius in GSTL, so let's assume he'll win.
But Jjakji is the zerg brutalizer while Losira is Losicat. If Jjakji wins Losira I can see Losira going to the up and downs again if Happy loses. But if Genius and Losira loses, Genius wil lgo to the up and downs.
It's too hard to predict too, usually I have a good idea of how things will play out (even when I'm wrong), but this time I have no clue for both groups, except that there is a good chance to see Genius in up and downs.

edit : wrote Losira for Leenock in group F

Writing this, I realized this is one of the day I'm anticipating the most for a long time.

I expect losira and jjaki to perform extremely well. I'm confident he will do very well against leenock as jjaki is such a underrated player, as are a lot of the hoseo members.

Could Leenock finally get into code s?

Group 1 depends on how well Losira has been practicing his ZvT the past month. Ganzi has good TvZ, but if Losira beats him, he can beat July easily because of July's mediocre ZvZ, and HongUn would lose to July in the first place.

I think Genius and Hongun are going down, they are completely outclassed and not even because Protoss is somehow weak.

I hope they are replaced by Sage and JYP in the Up-Downs, they are better and more exciting to watch.

It's very possible Huk could be the only Code S Protoss next season, because Killer is also going down in his group (vs. Polt, Taeja, DRG).

cant wait for tomorrows groups, time for jjakji to show what he's got, been a fan since he first played in the korean weekly. He has mad potential, but it is his first time in code s...so excited to see the turnout!

These are the hardest groups to predict in this season -.-

Group E:

Losira is the best player in the group but could easily die to cheese by July or Hongun and he's not the greatest in zvt, so Ganzi will probably win their encounter. July is crazy, and I can see him managing to take out hongun and Ganzi with his style, but won't beat Losira in a straight up game. Hongun somehow always gets out -.-. Ganzi is terran, is on slayers, terran, won code A, terran.

Ganzi and Losira probably..

Group F:

Overall everyone in this group looks about even in skill. Happy might be a tad better than everyone after his performance in the GSTL recently where he was surprisingly the best IM player that night. Suppose Leenock will stomp some face as well..

Will probably watch Group E, skipping Group F.

I'm hoping that July has refined his aggressive style. I like how he plays quite differently than most zergs and I hope his style remains viable.

i like to vote against protoss and zerg lately . cuz were not out of ro32 and theres a guranteed terran in semis. makes my liquibet go up
