Are you sure? Have a source? I just want to be sure, because if so that really gets my goat. GOM gouging foreigner fans leaves an awful taste in my mouth.

From what I could gather theres 11 tournaments a year right? With one of them being the grandfinal. Assuming that the grand final will be the same price (which is probably incorrect) If you want to be able to watch live and vods It will cost you $550 a year to watch starcraft?

This is a joke right? Is there a source for that? If that's true than this really pisses me off. You're saying GOM is making money ONLY out of foreign sc2 audience?

1: that there's a free stream to verify everything is up and running well before I spend money 2: that the stream is fairly priced and I don't have to pay a second time to view any VODs I already paid to watch once. For $50 combined this is WAY WAY WAY overpriced. That's approaching what I pay monthly for my HD cable service with a DVR. For access to a stream for a single event (even though it lasts a long time and there are many games) I will pay around $10 and that's with the expectation of VODs later. I would pay as much as 15 or 20 for true HD quality (not fake MLG HD). I'm disheartened that rather than build their audience to show advertisers how many people they can reach, they're going for a quick money grab which I expect to backfire miserably even from a business perspective.

Moreover, I never always watched live, I often caught VODs, now I have to do one or the other, or pay through the nose for both.
