I also put forward subgroup to my left hotkey near my "strg" Key because its very easy to reach with my tumb.
Still havent used the camera functions yet, probably i will also use the shift key for other actions if I dont feel like using the camera.

This same issue occurs in early game, when I have very few units, for example, if I only have a few stalkers and the Cybernetics Core all bound to "0." However, usually the issue resolves as I warp in additional stalkers. As best I can tell, once you have a certain critical mass of units, the camera upon double tapping the control group will snap to the nearest units as opposed to the building. Nonetheless, this slight camera inconsistency can at times be problematic. Any thoughts? Thanks much.

EDIT: Nice catch on the suggested CGs that needs to change. EDIT2: I meant specifically about the MsC. I feel that using the minimap can be used before you get enough stalkers, (or you can use the ranged CG to jump there).

Having "J" as the highest priority key works fine for zerg and protoss since they can just hold down the key to make units, but as terran you have to spam the shit out of it.

Drummers disagree: but as always, we expect each person to do what they think is best. I've made a short tutorial on what we need to support more keyboard layouts. If your keyboard is not supported, or you know of a keyboard that isn't supported, please help us out so we can support as many layouts as possible.

Nordic/scandinavian layout Okay, so to make the Nordic layouts work, I need to know how SC2 stores the 3 keys between L and Enter. I know one is Grave and one is Apostrophe, but I'm not sure what the 3rd is. To test this, just open up SC2, create a new layout from Standard, and then rebind 3 abilities to those 3 keys, and then tell me what they are, in order from L to Enter. The issue here is that US-QWERTY keyboards have the same number of keys on the right side as Nordic keyboards, but they are positioned differently. US-QWERTY (most of the time) has 3 keys to the right of P, []\, whereas Nordic only has 2. Nordic however has 3 keys between L and Enter, whereas US-QWERTY only has 2. I need to remap stuff that is bound to BackSlash on QWERTY to one of those 3 keys on Nordic, but I don't know what those 3 keys are.

i dont like camera hotkeys, i think 10 control groups are not needed and the most important units were not under my index finger. also, to create groups you need to press three keys which make absolutely no sense to me.

I've been messing with it here and there. I personally already use camera hotkeys already and the only benefit from switching would be having each production facility on its own control group. As a Masters player who made the switch after 1000s of games played with standard, here's why it's better: 1) Everything is within easy reach (everything is quicker to press) 2) You have all 8 camera locations (6 for bases) within easy reach (much, much faster than pressing F1-F4 if you use standard). 3) You have additional CGs within easy reach (this is particularly useful for hotkeying things like your obs or overseer, which I tried to do on 8,9, or 0 on standard but which just never worked for me). 4) Every ability key is accessible with a two-finger combo. That is, selecting your CGs is always done with a different finger (index/middle) than using abilities (ring/pinky), so selecting units + using their abilities is always a really quick combo.

Firstly, creating CGs is not necessary most of the time. Adding to CG is much much more common. Secondly, because you press both Ctrl and Shift with your thumb, it isn't much slower than pressing Ctrl. Thirdly, having Ctrl+Shift as create allows you to separate lings from banes, as well as separating a drop from your MMM ball in less actions than any other modifier combination.
