![]() ![]() My average team is 5 , is that reasonable ? also what about buildings ? im not sure i want to go about it and expanding as well .... what do you guys go on the tech tree ????? the game is very fun again which i great ! | ||

You should always aim for 100% infiltration or more. And probably not for less than 4 soldiers per mission unless you plan to do 2 man stealth missions. If you cannot accomplish 100% infiltration and you don't want to spend intel to boost it, don't do those missions. Your soldiers are your most important resource and dead or long time injured soldiers are not useful. | ||

Long War 2 1.1 patchnotes are up. Overall looking very solid. To bad I can't finish my current campaign properly. Whatever, I haven't encountered Stun Lancers or Sneks yet | ||

Or you are actually doing so good, their research timers are so far behind you must roll on every mission. | ||

It was funny, one of the pods had to normally walk their patrol route as I was spectating it with my shinobi. The whole patrol had to move through a 1 square space between convoy vehicles and that spot was on fire. Result, all biological aliens in that pod got set on fire. I just sat around for 2 rounds and waited for that whole pod to burn to death on their own :D Then used a technical to blow another pod of 8 to hell with 1 rocket. Wasn't that hard of a mission after that, 44 ayys killed, plenty of corpses to be had. Nobody from my team even took hp dmg, just armor. | ||

techwise I skipped lasers this, went straight to the advent tech with tier 1 armors. Plus the psi rush. | ||

I also AWC first to cut down on the incredible injury times and I can wait in the officers until after the power. late proving grounds can be harsh though. Also don't sleep on that stun gun early on with your assults. Its VERY good for taking out a sectoid, shieldbarrer or an advanced officer for a turn or two and its got good accuracy at range if you can get a flank but can't get close. | ||

* A drone stunned one of my soldiers for two turns * A sectiod in the same pod then mind controls the very same soldier * I flash bang the sectoid and regain control of the soldier for that turn (and manages to kill the drone) * The soldier was stunned for two turns after I had regained control of it | ||
