Not really? with a robot heal you just need LOS I'm pretty sure to send the heal away and to be anywhere near the person you need to heal/revive. do you mean something else?

Finished the expansion on Ironman/Vetran , was easier then i expected (first ironman run) , i am a notorious save scummer so i decided enough is enough i should be good enough to finish vetran on ironman , i wonder how commander is going to go .,.... i think i wont be able to finish it without some save scumming .,... still doing tons of mistakes

New update is out with balance and bug fixes. Some notables for me

Fixed the Lost World Dark Event to expire correctly
Chosen will be activated only if someone on XCOM team has been reveale
Berserk Rangers no longer attack squadmates
Bladestorm and Retribution excludes teammates as valid targets
Changed Skirmisher Ionic Ripjack stun chance to 25%
Darkclaw now gains the effects of equipped ammo
Slightly reducing the aim of Retaliation civilian militia and Volunteer Army soldiers
Bluescreen Rounds no longer affect destructibles (I just had a kill/extract VIP die because of this lol)

TBH, I've always played my Skirmisher as a Ranger with a better Double Tap, so while the nerf sucks I don't think Skirmishers are useless.

Skirmisher + T3 weapons + Bluescreen Rounds + Zero In is pretty good at dealing with big mechanized units.

About time they fixed the civvies. They pretty trivialized retalation missions if you kept up with weaponry.

Pretty much. Same as Horde missions were also super trivial with finding high ground positions that block Lost from climbing after you.

I don't think they are useless now, just less useful than the other classes. Like I don't think their ability to shoot twice is better than double tap because each shot does less damage, and the crit chance is substantially lower.

If you need someone to kill big mechanized units just bring an extra sharpshooter with blue screen rounds.

The only unique thing Skirmishers brought to the table was the ability to stun two bad guys in one turn.

Well after about 300 hours in the game I think I'm at the point where I can own the campaign on Ironman/Commander. My first 3-4 War of the Chosen campaigns were total flops, but I feel like after enough hours you just get an intuitive understanding of things. I've only tried Legend once or twice (that was before War of the Chosen) and I didn't get anywhere. I may give that a try after my current Commander campaign. In the meantime I've got like 10 colonels, all the weapons and armor I need, all Chosen dead, avatar project at 2 bars, 250 intel, and 1500 supplies lol so the rest of this campaign should be fun.

Hopefully by the time you end it we will get some news about the game (should be sometime in aug if you believe reddit).
