i feel like the caps could advance far in the east, with backstrom back and oveshkin starting to produce again. preds should be west winners, but i give canucks a good chance if D. sedin can recover from concussion. Marian Gaborik as playoff MVP PS: fuck Bbruins gayest team ever to exist in NHL dirty players, | ||

The Oilers troll the BJ's. I don't even want Yakupov... trade the pick for a sick defender like Weber imo. And if we do pick him, dayum... I just creamed myself. Hall-Gagner-Eberle Yakupov-RNH-Hemsky That not even fair. | ||

Edmonton has had high draft picks pretty much since their last cup run and the team still delivered terrible results. | ||

Its not much of a coincidence that we really only had success when the goalie stood on his head and the offence was clicking. Luckily this years free agent class is going to have defencemen we can take. Justin Shultz(2011 Anaheim 1st rounder that didn't sign), is looking for a team to play with near his BC intioror home. That means Edm, Calgary and Van. He aint gonna sign with Van cause he will not play for them. Probably not Calgary either because they are going down, fast. Its not a lock but I like what I have seen from this kid so I hope we sign him. Shea Weber (RFA) and Ryan Sutter are also both avalible. Would be nice to get one of them. This season we definatly improved though. NHL's top ranked PP until mid March, 3rd by the end (and because EDMs place in the standings they played in a bunch of their opponents important games and couldn't buy a call). Our PK was leaps and bounds better. We won some faceoffs unlike last year. And more importantly, All our young guys improved, alot. I doubt theres a better deal in the NHL then Eberle at 1.15m? | ||

The Capitals have no chance of advancing very far because their goaltending is too weak. Sedin ain't playin' tonight. whether or not you like the Bruins: Tim Thomas is the best play off goalie in the league. Halak may challenge him for that title this year though. Chara could pound the snot out of any player he chooses and elects not to do so. its amazing how "chippy" other teams are when Chara is not on the ice. all of a sudden Chara hits the ice and in two tenths of a second the opposing tough guys re-learn the meaning of the word honour. The Refs better put the whistles in their pockets and let the players decide the game. Go Bruins Go! | ||

They don't give a fuck about misconducts. If the refs call a huge number of 2 min penatlys game one the serise will be very calm. Of course this is the NHL so thats not gonna happen. I expect the whistle to remain in the locker room. 6 foot 9 inches 255 pounds of muscle is a good reason to play nice on the ice. He doesn't fight much but when he does Chara destorys people. Chara is the undisputed king of heavy weights | ||

Suter and Weber cant wait to play for the worst team in hockey where they will be under a microscope and expected to carry the weight. Just like I am sure a young kid cant wait to play for one of the few teams that is actually worse than the one he is currently on. As long as the systematic problems in Edmonton live on, and that goes from the GM, to the scouting, to the coaching, to the lack of anything except for potentially-good-but-not-proven-teenagers the team is going nowhere. Edmonton would be better of to move one of its superlines to get a top pairing defensemen and a third line. Then when inevitably the young kids are shut down there will be others to pick up slack [the way Pittsburg picked it up last year when they lost Malkin and Crosby.] Just to be clear, I want every team in the league to get better. But especially the NW teams because having such a terrible division in such a good fan-base area is disgusting . | ||
