It k Steve, they just all butthurt. Half the non-oiler fans I've seen are like "Wow they gonna be scary", "Pffft, they didn't even do anything for this... it BS" or "lololol the Oilers suck." All just sounds like jealousy to me. After just one day of reading the internets after winning the lottery, this terrible season was worth it. Similair enjoyment as I would have got out of just winning anyway.

I've read this exactly same comment for the last 3 years now from Edmonton fans. Around lottery time and a second time around October when in the first 15 games the oilers go on a tear. And then mysteriously they go quiet and drop like a stone to the bottom the league.

Luongo played great. Vancouver was very sloppy early in the first period (long before any penalties were called) and in general got outplayed by LA. LA is full value for that win.
