Bitz will probably get 3-4. That was a pretty bad hit and he def should have stopped up. Canucks didn't play their game at all. I don't really know what that was. I expect them to come flying out of the gates tomorrow night. If LA thinks they just beat the Canucks at their best theyre in for a big surprise. I really don't see why their being cocky about beating the Canucks by 1 goal with that much power play time. They could have easily lost that game and that would have been a STEAL for the Nucks. | ||

Canuck's palyer Bitz faces a "disciplinary hearing"  that tendon laceration injury Helm has is NASTY.. its a good thing the best surgeons in the world are patching him up. some modern sophisticated organized crime groups now lacerate tendons rather than breaking bones because they know tendons do not heal any where nearly as good as bones do... especially if u have to graft other tendons from other body parts to repair the laceration. | ||

This is MOSTLY how I feel about it too. Officiating was terrible on both sides of the ice. Hell, officiating was fairly terrible in all three games of opening night. The Canucks didn't play their game at all, and the game was still incredibly close despite giving up about a million chances on the PP including a 5 minute major. I honestly feel worse for the Penguins. Dominate the first half of the game and then completely collapse over a goal that was about 20 feet offside. One thing is evident, though. This isn't the playoffs of old. There literally are no underdogs. | ||

sure enough Shea Weber another "product" of the WHL with over 350 penalty minutes in 3 years. Weber explained away this incident by saying the game is "really quick" that is why he had to quicky wind up before quickly driving zetterbergs head into the boards. lock weber up .. and throw away the key.. what an idiot. | ||
