The puck was in the air and Keith didn't even care. He wasn't looking for it like Daniel was. He just loaded up end cracked Daniel in the head with an elbow. It's not a confirmed concussion, but it's reasonable to assume that it's at least that. | ||

No, Daniel should have been penalized for interference at the very most. A bit of a shoulder in the corner is a hit that happens on a night to night basis. Either way, if Keiths elbow to the face of Daniel is in retaliation to that hit it makes it worse because it becomes 100% pre-meditated. And it completely looks that way too. You can get even by throwing a hard hit when you have Daniel in the corner at somepoint, but when the puck is sailing through the air and you elbow a guy in the face without any regard for the play itself? Far too much. | ||

A) Daniels check was mid shoulder, totally incomparable to this. There was no intent to injure, it was simply the completion of a check. If you played hockey you would know. B) When you lift the butt end of your stick and elbow to a guys face while skating towards him and the puck is nowhere to be seen, it's a clear intent to injure and totally malicious. | ||
