To his credit he basically carried Maryland into ACC relevance for a couple years and has a bit of athleticism. He would take the weirdest (and ugliest shots ever) and make them on a regular basis. It always felt like the uglier the shot, the better chance it had at going in.

And Westbrook has made some huge plays down the line, nobody can deny that.. .. but in my eyes, if OKC takes this game, it's because of James Harden.

And if the Bulls had Durant instead of Either Boozer or Deng they would be penciled in for 6 straight titles.

Strategy !!! Fact is they pay Durant more money for him to take the final shot. He is the better player regardless of who is guarding him compared to Westbrook and he should be taking the final shot.

You need at least 2 options on your team, obviously you try to get the ball into Durant but that isnt always possible, especially when Shane "Im the best fucking wing defender in the playoffs" Battier is guarding you.

Also this "take the last shot" jargon is what I (as a longtime Bulls fan) call "Imaginary Jordan Syndrome." This fake Jordan who always took the last shot was created by the media after Utah Game 6 when Jordan made (arguably) the most famous clutch shot in history. People seem to ignore that he was just as apt to kick it out to an open teammate (which is why he was being guarded 1 on one during that possession). Jordan took the last shot when it was appropriate for him to take the last shot, something Kobe and the newer generation don't understand.

But Durant still had the most points per play of anyone in the game? Battier may be the best perimeter defender in the league, but Durant was still the most productive player on the court and he should've gotten more than 20 shots in a 57 minute game for him.
