Try changing download region from settings to something else.

I've bought some games i've been waiting to buy for a while now. Those games being Half Life Blue Shift along with Opposing Force. I also bought some really cheap games that have been quite fun to play suprisingly. Gogo steamsales!

Child of Light seems aesthetically beautiful. Is this game any good?

the story is nice and art style superb, for that price, its a no brainer.

Just bought Metro 2033 for $3.74 and Metro Last Light Redux for $6.24 as part of daily deals. I don't think they usually get this cheap, and I didn't want to miss these pick-ups. Can also buy both Redux versions as a bundle for $9.99 straight. ~80% off.
Also bought The Witcher 1 and 2 for like $4. Damn. ~85% off.

Child of Light was highly reviewed, but it has some stupid design choices. Turn based combat merged with real time healing is somewhat of a pace killer. Combat can be a chore, but it's not enough to ruin the game.
Instead, the question should I pick up Child of Light can be answered with another question: How high is your tolerance for inane and childish rhyming couplets? Every single bit of dialogue has been blunt-force-crowbarred into a cutesy rhyme--that is, blatantly rearranging words in a sentence to form what is to poetry what custard is to french cuisine.
If that doesn't bother you, Child of Light probably delivers. It's massively on sale at the moment, so get it now or never.

Metro 2033 Redux, ultra worth it.
Last Light Redux im not so sure.
(Mostly because the extra stuff from the Redux doesnt feel that much on Last Light, Metro 2033 its a whole new game)

You can't buy the original Last Light anymore on Steam for some reason, just the redux version. Idk how it compares anyways to the redux version, but the Redux version is just ~ $7 right now anyway.
And I haven't played any of the metro games, but always wanted to try them eventually. I was debating to get Original Metro 2033 or Redux version instead, but I went with the original because I liked the art style better from what I saw. I've heard a lot of people say that they prefer the original and others say that they prefer the redux for 2033 though.

The Metro games are some of the best games of the last generation, i love them.
I played both versions, 2033/LL Normal and Redux, and 2033 its deffinetely a different game, the more crude, raw feeling of the normal version does benefit the game atmosphere A LOT more than the much more refined settings of the Redux version, the problem is that 2033 isnt without problems when it comes to performance and some of the improvements are really really welcome on the Redux version.
If you can, get both, the Redux version adds quite a bit of replayability by letting you play the game in the more action oriented gameplay of Last Light (you can still play it the normal 2033 way too)

I haven't played it, but I know that there is a thread on TeamLiquid for Grey Goo.
The general opinion on this title seemed to be that it was really bad on launch (released way before it was ready), has since been patched, and is now a pretty solid title that is suffering from somewhat low player count. They had about 100 players per day before the current Steam sale, now has about 800 players since people bought it and are checking it out. No idea if it will retain too many of those players.
The TL thread should have a bunch more good information, might want to ask there for game info too.
