Note that GTA 5 is being highly dubious by adding a giftcard to the base game to up the price and then discounting it back down to the original full price.

For the rest, I've got 11 games in my wish list, all waiting for a very good deal, #1 being the upgrade of Dark Souls2 to DS2 : SotDS. (I don't own the season pack) but the upgrade only got 20% reduction right now. Also hope to get Divinity : Original Sin, The Banner Saga and Door Kickers. We'll see ^-^

My latest bargain was buying GTA V for like 30 dollars from some mexican website. Sure there are, and it has been discussed multiple times how shitty those shady websites generally are. You really don't have to feel smug because you managed to buy something cheap from some shady guy or bought the key from a cheaper region. Know what is even cheaper? Pirating. Basically, buying video games is largely based on how ethical you are willing to be, which tends to make games more expensive but you feel better about yourself. Steam sales (And similar sales from legitimate sites like gog) have this huge advantage that you get games for cheap, without fucking over anyone.

Was waiting for a little more than 50% for Wasteland 2, will wait to see tomorrows deals and decide. Hopefully this Grey Goo sales spice up its player base, developer should take advantage of this and push a few stuff fast.

Steam sales (And similar sales from legitimate sites like gog) have this huge advantage that you get games for cheap, without fucking over anyone. Also, steam is a digital market place that doesn't directly control the price of a lot of the games. Its not a physical store, with shelf space. Or Amazon, with stock they need to unload. In those cases, the publisher already got their money and the retailer is just unloading the excess copies, likely at a loss. It is weird expectation that the Steam Summer sale always has better prices than the entire internet, including weird key sellers. Sometimes you need to bargain hunt and find the best deals on AAA games like GTA and Witcher 3(which is owned by the same company that own GOG).
