and i predict she will free the rest of slave cities in the slaver's bay, very predictable. not much of a prediction tbh
the cool part is how its done

Knowing everything that is going to happen in this series doesn't change the fact that it is incredibly cool to see it unfold on a visual medium like TV.

I agree with Jino, saying she was going to free the city wasn't exactly a far out there prediction by any means. I've never read the books or any other material but I still said right after the episode that she was going to give him the dragon, get the army then take over the city. It was kind of obvious I thought.

I know what is going to happen and I don't like to read all these predictions people is assuming here, don't read the predictions people. Feels like, sooner or later it's bound to be right.
|
yea once i heard that the unsullied or w/e do whatever there master tells them to no questions asked, i knew dany was just gonna double cross the slave master guy. Was funny in the episodes before this when he talked so much shit to her lollol
|
I would have guessed Dany would free the slaves because they build up her hatred of slavery, but not the manner in which she does it because of her naiveté
And there's also things that I couldn't dream of, like the kid that freed Theon using it as a huge ploy to get information before he tricks him into getting Jesus'd a second time

I'm pretty sure some people around here know what happens and make "predictions" that end up coming true.
Really great episode. Man, can't believe I'd feel sorry for Theon after all the shit he's done, but the line where he said, "My real father died in King's Landing," was too good. Still wondering why the guy freed Theon only to imprison him again. By the look on his face, I'm guessing he did it because he's a sadist or something.
The look on everyone's face when Daenerys first commanded the Unsullied in Valyrian was priceless. The end of that when Barristan and Jorah both smirked and made eye contact was amusing too.
Looking forward to the next 6 episodes, especially the 7th, since they're supposedly going to be the best ones.

I agree but there is so much more tension when you don't know what the fuck is going to happen next, especially in a show like this where anyone can get killed or hurt. You are always on the edge of your seat.

Iirc studies have shown that "spoilers" do not decrease enjoyment ^^.

I know some of the things that happen in this show, from reading it online, but most I dont. I'm sad when I see a scene which I'm aware of already, I'm not at all for new information.

But still, your mind must wonder after an episode and theorize what is going to happen.... I know mine constantly does.

Dont they teach it in schools anymore to never use "studies proved" or "experts say" and bullshit blanket statements like that?

I think it just depends on the kind of spoilers. If there is a series about Elvis everyone will know that he dies and were he was when, it is still just as entertaining. Or think about Titanic... Imho just "detailled" Spoilers really destroy the atmosphere, knowing the end of a certain storyline doesn't.
And no, when i was in school, i never heard something like "don't use studies provided" and stuff like this. Probably because arguing over the Internet wasn't really a focus there .

It's not. It's actually several studies, most of which have been posted in this thread at one point. People who know the "plot twists" usually either enjoys the show equally, or more.
I've read the book up to the point of the show, I usually know what will happen in the episode I'm seeing. But that certainly doesn't lessen my enjoyment of it. In fact, I think it heightens it.

Did I ever argue "My way is the only way to enjoy the series"? Get a grip, guy. Twisting the words of a post to mean something the initial poster didn't is the worst way to argue on the internet.

Go ahead then and spoil the rest of GoT for yourself. And tell us afterwards how much you enjoy it anyway.

That's kinda what i've done, reading the books after the two first season. Someone even told me things that happens in a book i was reading, yet it doesnt ruin the plot for me.
I don't feel like it's that much important to know what happens afterwards. It's kinda like seeing a movie for the second time, you try to see the details that conduct to the end.
But i totally understand why people would not be spoiled. But you enjoy it as much as you would have, imho

I don't want to be spoiled myself and it's annoying... But it's also not the end of the world like some of you seem to think .
