There's been people who've said he's 99% coming back - I mean, it's quite clear from the story that he has a greater purpose. Melisandre coincidentally being at the wall is way too much, it's clear she went from Team Stannis to Team Jon by going to the wall. Jon's story is unresolved, and there's one more thing: when someone important dies, there's usually another major character spectating.
We see Robb's death from Catelyn's point of view, horrified at the murder thats going on, just like the viewers are. We see Ned's death from Arya's point of view, and her emotions more or less reflect our own. Lysa's death we see from Sansa, Joffrey's from Tyrion's, Tywin from Tyrion's, Ygritte from Jon's,
Robert dies in front of Ned. Renly dies in front of both Brienne and Catelyn. Viserys dies in front of Dany, Drogo in front of Dany, Oberyn in front of Tyrion, Shae also with Tyrion. Even Yoren, Qhorin and Locke (Arya, Jon and Bran respectively)
Even in this very episode there's two instances of an important death being spectated/executed by a major character. Brienne - Stannis and Jaime - Myrcella. We're essentially seeing the death through that character's point of view (this is more obviously applicable to the books, but also important to the show imo)
Given that Jon's death doesn't follow this tradition, and also happens at the end of an episode, more or less as a cliffhanger, it's quite likely he is coming back. On the other hand, there's the interview, but I would find it strange if he came out and confirmed he was alive. It's also strange that he denies it, but basically it's a more reasonable thing to say.

holy shit O_O well i guess this means sansa and theon are defintely alive, they did show snow at the bottom and didnt show a death plus both grew up in winterfell so they should probably know this?
Even if it would be possible for Mellisandra to save John, He will be dead for hours by the time she finds him. The guy is dead, Game of Thrones strong point is that anyone can die, their not going to undermine that with silly resurrections.

Well Tywin was back for this season, just as a corpse. So unless it's confirmed he spent several weeks at the set, I wouldnt read too much into it.

Why would he have been dead for hours? She's at castle black, probably staying in one of the towers. She could find him like 10 minutes after he gets stabbed, unless the NW fuck around with his body or something

Wasn't it shown in an earlier season that the god of light can bring people back from the dead?

You see you'd think that's the case, but resurrecting Jon Snow wouldn't be silly or undermining. Jon Snow ''just dying'' would not be best for the story in my opinion. There was so much left for him to do. All previous major deaths have had characters who really had nothing to develop on. Now that I think about Stannis more I think he's dead as well since he doesn't have anything to add to the story anymore.
Jon Snow, on the other hand, has so much to add to the story it would make more sense for him to be resurrected than to just be dead forever. Like what is Melisandre going to do alone at the Wall? Seriously, why is she there? The only reason that makes sense is the person she was staring at creepily when they arrived.
You'd think it's a strength of Game of Thrones that anyone can die, that's not really the case, it just makes us THINK like anyone can die.

Honestly I did not mind this episode with its tragedies etc. It seemed appropriate that Stannis army was just massacred. Being "badass" and determined or whatever does not mean you become invincible and will beat superior numbers. John being killed by his comrades wads logical and just a matter of time. Arya killing was badass and fittingly gruesome. Dorne was meh like usual. Cercei walk of shame was a little longer than needed and even felt a little misogynist.
What I did not like is how Stannis as the leader of his army was suddenly alone and then somehow found by Brienne.
