Are goods things loved by the gods? The answer is hyperbolic: goods, defined as economic items are goods for humans and are loved by the gods because they are good for humans. Individual gods might prefer differ refutations. For example, Zeus might prefer to deliver an argument that he is not god.

Here's a summary of an essay I wrote a while ago:

The standard Theist Neo-Platonist response goes something along these lines: Goodness is not a separate quality that God must follow; it is part of who God is. In this view, God’s nature is the very definition of goodness.

Everything that is good does so by sharing in or resembling God’s perfect nature. When God gives a command, it is inherently good because it comes from a being whose nature is goodness itself.

This approach removes the need to ask whether something is good because God commands it or if God commands it because it is good. Instead, God’s commands are good by their very source.

Yeah, I agree completely. The evolution of the Judeo-Christian God has removed most of the dilemmas. There's no point doubting the conclusion.
