First of all, bear in mind that I don't believe Stannis is dead yet. They cut away from showing him die, I think its far too convenient. I think Brienne sank her sword into the tree and is going to take Stannis prisoner. Now... If this theory going around about Jon's parentage (which I won't specifically describe here for those who don't want to hear it) is actually true, then that would mean he has "kings blood" because he is the descendant of a royal bloodline. This explains Melissandra's interest in him all season. That, combined with my belief that Stannis is still alive gives me a new perspective on Melissandra leaving Stannis in the beginning of the episode: She wasn't giving up on him, she just realized that Shireen's sacrifice wouldn't be enough... sure sacrificing Shireen pushed back the winter, but it also caused the troops to abandon them. So she rides off to the wall to convince Alistar to kill Jon Snow so she can offer his kings blood to the Lord of Light... It doesn't make perfect sense, because normally she burns people alive, but then again I'm not sure that she could have gotten away with such a thing. Maybe that's what she told Thorn she wanted, but he refused to do it that way and so that has ramifications going forward... Or maybe G.R.R Martin is just so fucking cruel that he just killed off Jon Snow with no remorse and no grand plan and we all just have to live with that weight for the next 9 months... ![]() ![]()

Jon is half-Stark and half something else. Starks are no kings. edit: Oh I didn't fully read your post. Eh. As far as we know, Melisandre doesn't know Jon's parentage. She has shown no signs that she does (other than wanting to bone him I guess, but she does that a lot).

I have a feeling this is not the last we'll see of Jon though.

She was staring at him all freaky all season long. The final episode of season 4 when she first met him their only interaction was her staring creepily at him from across the courtyard. And who has she tried to bone throughout the series? Stannis (kings blood: check), Gendry (kings blood: check), and Jon (kings blood: maybe?)

DICKS AND TITS AND PEOPLE DYING, WOOOO~ Edit: My favorite scene was when they had Tyrion, Jorah, the other dude, Grey Worm, and the hot girl all gathered in a circle doing adlibs. Like holy shit, good stuff roflmao. Top top notch writing.

Also wtf red lady you did jack shit and u had kings blood...also her prediction sucked balls...zzz also the theory that she wanted to kill jon snow or that shes going to revive him. She better revive him cause wtf her goal is to defeat the white walkers right??? and predicted that stanis was the one to do it so wtf is she doing leaving him alone in the war (without telling him anything she could have at least been like oh i didnt see half the army going away...umm...opps i gtfo now btw u should come too u know savior of the realm and everything. Her killing jon snow for his blood if that ends up being true shes my second hated person in the show, the 1st place now goes to those stupid regilous fantaics, i didnt like ceris at all the previous seasons but that walk of shame thing is bullshit like seriously thats so fucked up and the mob mentality is also so fucked up they're fucken whores and theives and murders they're like the shittest people as well and yet they get zero punishment. Atm im just hoping for loras and margergy to stay quiet never admit, have lady olenna or ceri's mountain zombie kill them all cause seriously fuck them. I hate them so much that was so terrible. (and i hate ceri too but this way way too much, if the scene was shorter i might not feel as disgusted by the fantics but it went on for sooo fucken long, i completely understand if the actor didnt want to go through with it even if its on a set with people who can comfort you after trying to get into that as a role really sucks, and i feel sorry for the stunt double too :/ idk but i think that would have been hard to shoot) I also despise the mountain because i really like obyern but i feel i wont mind zombie mountain bring swift death to those fanatics. Also so sad for jons death...im really hoping on him being alive, i feel like its the only person who is actually going to be able to beat the whitewalkers on the wall, if he stays dead im 100% sure whitewalkers are gonna break through the wall like seriously wtf alister ur a retard and fuck olly too i hated him since i saw him, thank god he didnt kill sam. Danny im scared for her, the last time the dorthraki met her they sent back a fucken head of this cool rider dude ![]() Im just really sad alot of the scenes were really really short and open ended (well i guess its been like that every season) Arya becoming non-arya feels wrong tho i completely misjudged the faceless assassin thing its not a training house which u can take and then leave to do ur own shit, its like ur in ur fucked ur a slave to us now.... :/ Would have thought jaquen dying or throwing away a another body to save arya from ur debt. Also i dont really get it, man faced god wants lives thats why jaquen had to pay back his life (and the 2 others in that cage) with 3 new deaths (could be anyone) then in arya's situation many faced god wants a life (the old crook) arya instead takes another but in the end its still 1:1 and killing arya or w/e doesnt exactly make it even. edit: im also not sure why the fuck people want to watch the actors naked in that fashion...(bath scene? good, anywhere before sex? good, naked and shit covered with tears and against their will? wtf no

As for the resurrection theory, I have to agree. Jon is such a huge character. And Melisandre just returned shocked for being wrong about Stannis. (maybe I think so at least). These two things make me think something of that sort could happen. Tyrion and Varys 10/10. Sansa and Theon are probably alive. I certainly hope so. Arya being a badass but getting punished for it. Cercei getting humiliated, Mountain is back, holy shit so much happened I don't know how to feel. Also, Stannis the Mannis might not be dead, I won't believe that until I see his dead corpse! The one true king, hail Stannis! (I still disagree on the child burning though. T.T)

He's no use to anyone now, he has zero assets and no friends to ransom, his Red Priestess abandoned him, and, above all, Brienne is a remorseless killer who swore to see him dead. Stannis is gone for good, this is the only way his story makes any sense. Keeping him alive in any manner would be a kick in the balls both to the viewer and to the God of Common Sense. Then what was the point of his storyline throughout the entire season? It changed nothing.

That would just be ridiculous. Look! We just let two main characters die and here they are again.

The events in the north are pretty crucial to the overall story, you can't have both main characters there die, who's gonna provide a POV otherwise? Sam/Sansa/Theon are still there I suppose. Pretty sure one of Jon/Stannis will be alive though.

Keep in mind she first wanted to burn Gendry, not seduce him. She only did that because Stannis refused to burn him, and even then it was for the leeches.
