The IT is also pretty awesome, but it's on hold right now, right? Can't remember anymore, I watched all the eps that were out, now I haven't checked if they've done more already (was like season 3 was the last one) | ||

Some people don't understand how I can like this show as much as Community. While I do think Community is better is many aspects, my response would be that I love the characters. I simply like them more than characters on other comedies such as Community or 30 Rock. You won’t find a comedy pairing with more chemistry than Sheldon and Penny. Their scenes are usually gold. It’s true, the show isn’t as creative as Community (it’s actually pretty formulaic). There was a jump in improvement from season 1 to 2 and I hoped it would continue to season 3 but it has settled into what it is. There really aren’t many truly nerdy or geeky episodes. Some references here and there but many of the show’s gags and jokes revolve around introducing Sheldon to a phrase and having him restate in his speak or dropping him in some social situation. It’s actually gotten pretty bad over the 3rd season. Most episodes are Sheldon centric anyway but the 3rd season has a real loss of balance. The 3rd season is very hit or miss; feels like it’s missing some of the fun or whimsy or something from season 2. It doesn’t help that I’m not a fan of the Leonard/Penny relationship. Still, you should give it a shot. | ||

It used to be very good, but it turned too Sheldon centric very early on. And since it has gotten worse and worse. I still enjoy it, but the jokes have become predictable and overused. | ||
