well i have faith in the boys. i dont think they will have problems with the new patch. they have show in the past, that they are good at adapting. their hero pool is quite big, they can play all the meta heroes without any problems. so keep the games coming;)

According to Liquipedia the game got rescheduled to July 18 5 pm. No Information why though, my guess would be that the Liquid boys are probably on their way to the Summit already.

On the Global Grand Masters site, the match has a [TBA] tag in front of it. I'm pretty sure they just shoved forward the date one week while they try to find a time that that works for both teams, so take it with a grain of salt.

Yeah they had. Did not see games vs wings, but they should get to the losers finals without any Problem. It's good that they try New drafts too, you have to be flexible these days.

Wings=Liquid cryptonite? I kinda feel like TI is going to come down to a tossup between OG/Newbee/Liquid where anyone can win on a good day

Or Liquid get caught off guard by an Asian team they don't prepare for much like VG.R/Wings/TNC/MVP again and TI will end early

This really looked like trying out new drafts. I think they take Summit as good practice before TI. Small pricepool so they don't miss much if losing and a good opportunity to get LAN-practice with new stuff. At least I hope that's the reason their play looks really wonky from time to time.

Cmon guys, yesterday was a total tryout. And it was kind of successful. Plus you don't want to stomp everyone just before TI, because everyone will prepare especially for you. Summit and starladder are both very good opportunities for trying some new and fun stuff vs high level teams.

PLUS we get to watch Liquid on 2 more matches if they make it to the Finals.

If you looked at the drafts and expected us to win vs a decent team... I don't know what to tell you.

Probably a combination of saving good drafts and trying out random things against teams/regions they don't usually scrim. The summit is only a 100k tournament these days.. and with 20mil on the line in a few weeks..
