Lane assignment and Skill builds were all wrong on Liquid side during their match against Chaos. I seen ember & MK as 1&2 get destroyed before so that duo of melee squishies is definitely exploitable [W&R with huskar hammered OG in TI8 EU quals UBF].
& Chaos just had really good surprise strat that also completely countered Liquid's draft in a Bo1, Even beat VP like Julmust said.
Maybe they're trying different strats as Miracle- ember + Matu MK doesn't approach ana/Topson. maybe same as VP working thru new strats too.
If they work thru this & not play autochess at 3am!, they'll have better chance at TI9 - now is the start of the real season since there's no DAC.

They can play autochess in their free time if they want to...

ofc but I don't perform at the highest proficiency if I stayed up still playing at 3am & work at 8am next day...maybe they had day off next few days then fine...
I wonder what constitutes a work-week for these pro players where: on work-day it "might" be expected to analyse/play/practice/eat & sleep properly and then nonwork-days where do whatever you want?
surely it's not every day is 'work-day' and they'd have a planned calendar schedule for non-work days?

Miracle worries me. He was the one person that prevented Liquid from having a much more dominating Game 3 against Alliance. You really can't enjoy victories when you see him play that poorly.

Some mistakes were made, true, but i actually liked how they played this time. Alliance played very good in general, Madara is a good addition to the team - they have a real chance to qualify. Their strategy in game two was amazing also. Our boys imo performed well - didnt choke, adapted the draft and looked like a team again. The game vs OG tomorrow will show if we are back - as OG are very motivated to shine after ana returned to the team.

Game 2 felt sloppy in both series, but at least Game 1 and 3 have been convincing, although I still feel they are not playing up to their standard. Games against OG will be interesting, if Liquid can exploit OGs (current) weak link Topson and keep ana from free farming, we should take this series. The risk of being outdrafted like in the recent series against Secret does not look as much of a threat.

Liquid is just a huge disappointment of a team at the moment.

Yeah, im so disappointed that after being 20k and 2 lanes down they won. Disband?
Oh, wait i have a better idea - don't make conclusions too quickly.
This was the best game so far this year. 1 hour of amazing dota. Havent felt like this in a while, thank you Liquid and OG!

It's not like anything they did erases the first half of that game. Still, they looked pretty decent during the last half of that game but I need to see more of that on a consistent basis.

That comeback gave me chills. That was old, never-say-die Liquid at its finest. It was amazing to watch.
Overall they're still really sloppy though. Lots of getting caught out and chain-feeding. This qualifier was a step in the right direction, but they still need to improve a lot to compete with the likes of Secret and VP.

Miracle AM offlane - wrecks lane, makes iltw (who first picked dusa) tilt super hard, who then proceeds to abandon the game at minute 5 or something

i think it was miracle mid AM vs dusa.

Yeah, killed iltw two times ... complete team abandons the game after 4min!

imo liquid got the group of death here. Although I may be biased

Group of death indeed. VP are not in their prime right now, but since noone really played dota in the last 2-3 months we cant be sure of the teams curren form. I hope for good dotah.
