the game on weaver by Matumbaman was really bad, the buyback plus time lapse -> dieback was the highlight of his game, he was really good the first 12 minutes creating chaos and then suddenly he overextends 3 times in a row dying and looking really stupid doing that. I don't know it those were team calls, if is that the case shame on the shotcaller because there was no need to get that aggressive aganist a storm spirit that can jump from anywhere and cleanup a messy fight.
At least in the first game vs VP they played really good for the 90% of the time (i think they lost when they jump highground blindly with the infest bomb MC + Matu and hit nothing, resulting in all the team running away in panic and getting whiped by the morphling) but the second was great laning stage and from that total dumpster, they were derping around everywhere with clueless movements, it was sad to watch for me :-(
Hope they will reset and forget the last game and get back on the right path vs Keen tomorrow (i doubt EE team will beat them)

Disgusting Matumbaman Drow playing. He is 7 on networth when Liquid winning. Plz kick that trash already.

You have six posts which only contains flame and insults towards a seasoned player who showed so many times and even in this tourney that he is an important part of this line up. I just hope that your days in this forum soon come to an end.

I saw Liquid since 2015 and he was weakest link on this team even before Miracle come here. He playing core roles but 2\3 of the games in the 6\7 networth places (nice core ahahaaha = trash). He so weak on mid (can play only Viper\Venom or Pugna) and so choked core on 1 position I ever see in my life. P.s In fact Miracle and Gh playing is only reason why Liquid yet tier-1 team but this team already need some changes (like kick Matumbaman and Kuro stop shitty draft).

Any more great comments from your side after that second game? Any more useful insight you want to provide us? Or are you finished with your crusade against Matu?

Actually I think Masturbaman is the strongest player right now in Liquid.

I think they all played well in this tournament so far, kuroky especially had some awesome performances. dont get why people could hate on matumba. the guy is so reliable, and enables miracle to do his thing. haters gonna hate i guess;)
on a sidenote, we were super lucky with our side of the bracket. ditching vp and secret for now;)

everything is good play for liquid they have more surprizes strategies I support them to be champion at TI9

man what a disappointing series after that great game 1. dont think they can stop this EG push, morph is so useless this game...
edit: yeah thats it. maybe they can make a lower bracket run, but i doubt it in this form. and i almost thought they were back to normal form, baited i guess xD

Please Liquid do something to earn fucking DPC points for once this season. That's all I ask man. Their points might as well be 0 because they've done nothing and accomplished nothing.

Unfortunately we couldn't see balanced drafting this series so we can see an awesome game. Heavy outdraft in games 1 and 3. I prefer the old drafting style - draft your supports and a versatile core first 3 - then counter with the rest - picking cores so early means you will get punished hard. This OD just won the game with 2 ulties.

Liquid didn't have any real ways to do damage in the past two games so they sat around and farmed in hopes the damae would fall from the sky and kill their opponents.

As for the DPC points don't worry. They will play TI - but it is going to be hard - as we can see - getting outdrafted just hurts even more these days, as many more teams are just better at dota. Still one more chance to do well this major. It appears that we will have managable lower bracket run up until top 6.

My other issue with all of this is that there's barely any Liquid games to watch this season. They're taking month long breaks from tournaments and then shortly getting eliminated in the tournaments that they do attend. The closer they get to being eliminated, the closer I get to being bored by this lifeless DPC season again. This whole fucking thing is excruciating this season and Liquid's poor/mediocre form isn't helping things at all.

So few good tournamments to watch overall, i also dont really care about the minors that much. The first time since 2013, that i really dont care about dota that much, since i also stopped playing 1-2 years ago.

The EU disappointment team. Everyone else from the region successfully fought to stay in the upper bracket while Liquid lost.

I said this in the LR thread but that series was the story of Cr1t and S4 carrying EG hard in games 2 and 3. I was quite happy with the play we showed and on some other day we would have won that game 2 or game 3. Everyone seems solid and I quite like the drafting Kuro has shown.

True for game 2 that same was on the back of cr1t. Playing against an Alch-lineup and having only a deficit of less than 5k at the 30 min mark is actually more than fine and it would have been even less when cr1t did not salvage so many fights for them. Game 3 was an outdraft for me. Picking Morph in the first phase without banning out THE counter to him in OD was just...gross negligent and will hopefully not happen again. I am really not a fan of picking your hard carry as an opener unless it is Drow which looks quite broken.
Next series against pain gaming, at least no bloody BO1.
