Hmm or maybe they just don't know how to draft / lane against random pub players + bone7? Hmm maybe just disband and stop playing dota? Hmm... Yeah thats it! All those last two years, were lucky drafts, and misclicks in to kills.
So you are saying they are 322ing both the major and minor qualifiers? Hmm

I bet kuro secretly still wants to play carry

Im saying that they wanted to take a break. But probably sponsor or other contracts didn''t let them. They are either in need of a break, or just don't want to play dota anymore. And i don't think thats the reason.

Honestly after these performances the only thing I can think of, is that they might be having internal issues (like someone leaving). Still they are all just underperforming now, really hope they will show us sth better today.

Agreed. They won their group at TI and ended up in 4th place, they won the Supermajor.

no contracts (aside from chinese ) forces top teams to play tournament when they ask for break so there is that.

Where can i download the sponsor contracts of TL?

I used to take part in this kind of discussions. Wasn't gonna actually post but after so much I need to ask.. why does it matter so much? I mean Dota is so different now from TI1 times, how can you actually even compare how teams do now and did back then and which team is historically better if the game is not the same?
It is like comparing football now with back then when goalkeepers couldn't use their hands. It makes no sense. TI1 - TI3 is way different from TI4 - TI7 and TI8 yet another kind of game with the new patch system.
And don't even start with the money, TI1 against TI3 is already not comparable. Taking into account smaller tournaments and their prize makes it even worse. Back to football is like comparing what Pele earned to what Cristiano earns. Makes zero sense.

Does anyone know why Matu is not playing today? I missed the start of the stream so they may have said it there.
|
Maybe if Kuro didn't take every chance he could get to play core, Liquid would've been doing better in the qualifiers than they are now. Forcing himself as core and now forcing Rmn as core because Kuro core didn't work the previous day is ridiculous

Only thing we got to hear about it, afaik.

Rmn is a fucking lifesaver. He's a support player who just happened to be able to competently play a decent amount of carries to help save Liquid after Kuro core didn't work out. His paycheck better be fat as hell.

well that got tense for a bit, but thankfully we made it to the minor. Now we just need to win that to make it back to the major xD

Yeah, more DPC Points that way!

You can only earn DPC from whichever of the two gives you the most

Pretty sure they declined an invite since Dreamhack is the day after the end of ESL One Hamburg. So as much as it pains me we won't see Liquid in Hamburg :/
