I love how he says "go fuck yourself" when expecting him to keep on practicing.

I mean good luck doing that on any real sports, and if you do, good luck having fun from the bench

I mean, i guess he has his reasons, but still.

Your real sports also generally have an offseason, where players can take some time off before getting back to hardcore practice. Straight after a major is basically the offseason for a team like Secret when they don't have big commitments. Not to mention that real sports are also quite different in terms of how much time your practice takes. In dota when you really practice you spend all your time on it pretty much. In real sports you can't do that because your body can't handle it, and you also have coaches to take care of a lot of the strategical side of the game so you don't have to do that much yourself to prepare for opponents. It seems quite understandable to me if thinking about dota all the time gets exhausting and you don't take it that seriously for a few weeks.

They did beat Fnatic really easily at WCA in both games. But they've had so many bad losses that it may feel like that

to be frank though, i think that makes it a lot more nailbiting to watch - i would not care as mouch about them if they won every single game

losing is part of the game, gives some space for other, maybe upcoming teams to get in spotlight

Well the Wings game also seemed like the only game where they had clear idea what are they and their opponents going to do starting with the draft. I agree though, far too often they lose early game and come back through better executed teamfights and pushes. They still managed to donate a lot of kills in the other games, but hey, it seems like they are improving.

Well, hopefully they start grinding some qualifiers, because they have been getting outdrafted more often than not. Some games they can get out through experience and execution, but other top teams won't give them the opportunity.
