I'm trying to avoid standard T2 atm because of the fairy domination.
Sick of playing against fairies all the time.

anyone here play the tournament scene? I live in the northeast and recently got first place at the hartford connecticut regionals playing, you guessed it, faeries . However, the meta at the tournament was actually pretty damn diverse, elf-rock being the most popular after winning pro-tour Hollywood followed by probably rev-combo and then faeries. There were only 2 fae in the top 8, and of course we got paired for the mirror match to qualify for nationals ^^. However I only played 2 mirrors on the day, not at all bad.

I've also been having alot of fun playing lorwyn block constructed. Went down to the boston PTQ this past weekend and went 5-3 playing rainbow elementals. 4-0 against faeries and lost to kithkin and the mirror. I was hoping kithkin would be out of style after having such poor results top 8 and blue envelope-wise the last month or so, so I didn't maindeck firespouts. However, they are the cheapest deck to build so they made up about 30% of the meta with faeries and 5c control variants both around 20%. Faeries are damn good, but they are far from the only meta-choice. There was 1 guy playing merfolk at the boston ptq and he top 8'd. Never quite seen why more people dont play the fish . Maybe eventide will spice things up alittle, though i doubt it'le dethrown the fae. Anyway, gl with the tournament, I don't know enough about the older formats to make it much fun, but I'd love to play in one if you host t2, lor block or even the current extended rotation.

I run a goblin deck in T2 and the faerie, merfolk, or kithkin decks are not imba to me.

goblins are solid tier 2, theyve got game against everything, though not quite as much power as the top tier lists (not quite enough consistancy for big tournament finishes). There is also a psuedo-goblin token deck running bitterblossom, war mashals, marsh flitters, gargeddon and the like with furystoke giant as a finisher that saw some regionals bids (the most recent major t2 events). It's a pretty sweet metagame right now, i think .

My friend and I both made goblin decks, he made a black red with blossoms and such. Its pretty damn good.

My deck is pretty good too (strictly red, but has green/red creatures with boartusk liege) just because of the speed of it.

I'll play something like tattermunge first turn, Vexing Shusher second, Boggart Ram Gang 3rd (for a total of 7 damage not even counting the 2+4 from previous turns), and Boartusk 4th. (giving them all +2/+2) and of course I have lots of Direct Damage and shit like Siege Gang Commanders.

I play it on MWS a lot and I win the majority of my games (probably like 70-80%).

I'd like to ask, if I download the program what you use,
can I build decks from any card or I have to pay for it ..

If it is free, I will play maybe.
I played another type of trading card game for a long time.
And all is illuminated.

Can't you just use the deck code instead of the decklist? It would seem kind of unfair for someone to have all of the decklists.

Rogues are a pretty fun t2 deck, mainly because it's such a hit or miss deck =) Either you win in 3 turns or you get completely raped, but if you do win, your opponent looked like a retard swinging his arms around wildly, trying to avoid all the 3/1 5/3 prowlers.

Hasn't cloudthresher turned out to be a nice fairy hoser? And hasn't mirrorweave and mutavault turned out to be the saving grace of kithkin decks? I hardly play T2 so I don't really have extended knowledge of the current metagame, but last I heard kithkin decks dominated because of stuff like mutaweaving and mirrorweave on thistledown liege.
How do you guys think eventide will change T2? I see alot of cool merfolks (wake thrasher, the counterspell merfolk).

There is lots of Black/white shit that is really good, I predict seeing a bunch of those decks.
