Draft tournaments are by far the most fun imo. For those of you not familiar with this, you sit around a table with the other players with a bunch of booster packs. Everyone opens one package each, picks a card, passes it to the one sitting next to him/her. When no cards are left, the process is repeated (can't remember exactly how many packs are required to make a deck). When it comes to land you get that separately (as many as you need) for "free". After this is done, the players obviously play against each other with their made decks standard tournament style. I love this because you have to show a lot of skill being able to choose the best cards for your deck etc. with a limited choice of cards. And its always fun to open boosters ![]()

I'd like to play but I've never really played online and I only have limited experience playing around with my friends with our decks. I only got into it because my $20 borders gift card allowed me to buy a deck. I could've gotten a book or something but after my friend let me use of of his decks it was a pretty fun game. I don't want to have to spend tons of time making a deck online from scratch to be competitive though. (I barely know the rules...)

I haven't played MTG in over a year or two.... I guess this means I should go dl MWS and take a look at the Standard metagame..... New sets are always interesting.... I'd be interested in doing some online drafts... or something... been a while.
