It does stack. You get 2 instances of flanking, which both do the same, so the creature gets -1/-1 twice

Voted Timespiral (cause its T2), will take tempest because thats the last set I played in when I was serious about magic and did pretty well in Arena and DCI stuff.

btw is there a way to look up old rankings and shit from magic?
..and then I would, ya know, check em'. (Aka SpoR)

Just in case Odyssey wins, Sonic Seizure or Blazing Salvo? Both do 3 damage, are instants, and cost R, but Blazing only targets creatures and can be countered by paying 5 life, while Sonic Seizure targets both creatures and requires you to discard a card at random.

Playtest with 2 of each, whichever one seems worse, replace with 2 of the other. At least, that is what I would do.

I'd be interested in playing with Oddysey, not so much with Time Spiral. Not familiar with that set at all , though I'd prefer Onslaught above all, it did not seem a realistic option.

Is it possible to play draft tournaments with this software?

Draft tournaments are by far the most fun imo.

For those of you not familiar with this, you sit around a table with the other players with a bunch of booster packs. Everyone opens one package each, picks a card, passes it to the one sitting next to him/her. When no cards are left, the process is repeated (can't remember exactly how many packs are required to make a deck).

When it comes to land you get that separately (as many as you need) for "free".

After this is done, the players obviously play against each other with their made decks standard tournament style.

I love this because you have to show a lot of skill being able to choose the best cards for your deck etc. with a limited choice of cards. And its always fun to open boosters

That does sound like a lot of fun. I'd like to play but I've never really played online and I only have limited experience playing around with my friends with our decks. I only got into it because my $20 borders gift card allowed me to buy a deck. I could've gotten a book or something but after my friend let me use of of his decks it was a pretty fun game. I don't want to have to spend tons of time making a deck online from scratch to be competitive though. (I barely know the rules...)

For me, playing is meh. Fun and entertaining, but there are better things. Building a deck however, is more of a showcase of your style, and takes more thinking. I usually end up playing aggro though.

Hmmm

I haven't played MTG in over a year or two.... I guess this means I should go dl MWS and take a look at the Standard metagame..... New sets are always interesting....

I'd be interested in doing some online drafts... or something... been a while.

You can draft online if you use Netdraft, unless that program died.

Does MTG has an option to view like an observer mode why you guys are playing?
