As to why they suck, maybe they need a coach who is just super defensive so that they can only focus on that. Eakins ain't going to do that, but he could adjust his style a little bit. It seems sometimes that learning a very defensive game can be good for a player long-term, though it might not be enough to win it all.

No, a bunch of them are season ticket holders, but the vast majority of the blogosphere is blacklisted. + Show Spoiler + ![]()

Maybe in another 20 years the posts can be just a light sensor as will the puck.

I’ve respected the hell outta that guy ever since he took a Boychuk slap shot to face in the 2011 playoffs and came back and played with a destroyed nose he needed surgery on immediately after the game. That was insanely badass

Also, it always gets worse in edmonton. Always. Craig Custance @CraigCustance 1m If EDM unhappy with him, Larionov said Yak open to trade: "We're willing to make a move. Any team. That happens and that's part of life." I know i said I wanted the same coach for awhile, but fuck that get Eakins out of here. His system clearly isn't that good, and I'd rather have Yakupov than him. And when Eakins is on the way out, he can take the entire top level management with him. uuuuuuugh.

So maybe just Toronto area hype? Marlies were stacked. Toronto doesn't give young players much of a chance in the NHL so they send all of their 1st round picks to the AHL to get better then trade them. Eakins seems like he's being too nice. I feel like this team needs John Torterella. They need someone to force the issue. Scream at them for being stupid. Someone who will sit the team captain for being a non existent ghost. Something. Anything.

One of my favorite players. He's such an easy guy to cheer for - scores a ton of goals, works harder and trains harder in the off-season than anyone not named Crosby. Such a delightful talent to watch. Sucks that our olympic team just lost the best goal scorer in hockey =(
