homer apparently wants to play him like a top pairing guy after timmonen retires, which doesnt make sense because of how he's played thus far with not particularly hard minutes anyone else putting up picks?

EAST: Boston in 6 - Hard to bet against Boston but Wings could pull it off Montreal in 6 - I don't know, without Bishop for the beginning of this serie I think Montreal will win this. New York in 6 - New York has the better team on paper Colombus in 7 - Colombus will pull an upset ![]() WEST: San Jose in 7 - Will be such a good serie Colorado in 5 - They are on fire so it was the obvious pick... but they don't have much playoff experience Anaheim in 6 - I'm really not sure about this one, I put Anaheim but.. for me this one is a coin flip Chicago in 7 - I wanted to pick the Blues... but Ott on the first line for the blues and both big players for Chicago back for game one... yeah

It's quite the enigma, isn't it? Also, this link has some valuable insight for chances. While I'm okay with a casual fan not desirous to partake in #fancystats, this is very easy to understand. http://www.broadstreethockey.com/2014/4/16/5620450/scoring-chances-a-season-in-review-part-1 SSS for MacD, but he's still terrible, and was for NYI. And has been for yeats.... and will be.... edit: and one of the main takeaways from the charts is that if you are a mobile defenseman who can pass you are way more valuable than "tough" dmen who like to hit.

The one division winner with most points faces the one wild card winner with the least, the other division winner gets the other wild card and then both #2 seeds face the #3 seeds. Straight shot bracket after that.

Detroit vs Boston: Boston in 7. Detroit will give them a good fight and that's enough for me! Montreal vs Tampa Bay: Montreal in 6. Because everyone is picking TB and because Carey Price. I love that little fuck. Columbus vs Pittsburgh: Pitts in 5. I know nothing about Columbus but not even MAF is enough to lose Pitts that series. Philadelphia vs NY Rangers: Ranges in 6. I don't like Philly and I don't want Hawk to wet this thread with the tears of unfathomable sadness. Minnesota vs Colorado: Colorado in 5. Because spite. Fuck Minnesota. I met a lady from Minni the other day who got mad at me because I said the Tea Party were fringe lunatics. Now I hope her stupid hockey team loses. Chicago vs St Louis: Chicago in 6. Blues too beat up yo. Dallas vs Anaheim: SELANNE. I honestly kind of think Dallas will win but this isn't the place for logic. Anaheim in like 2. LA Kings vs San Jose: This will go to nine games.
