Pretty sure if Sid dropped his pants in the booth it would a literal dick sucking too. It is terrible how biased they are.
MTL vs TB is a great game. No defense at all is such an entertaining game lol

If you go behind your net to check a guy that's already being checked, you should get fined.

Detroit vs Boston: Boston in 7. Detroit will give them a good fight and that's enough for me! Montreal vs Tampa Bay: Montreal in 6. Because everyone is picking TB and because Carey Price. I love that little fuck.
Columbus vs Pittsburgh: Pitts in 5. I know nothing about Columbus but not even MAF is enough to lose Pitts that series. Philadelphia vs NY Rangers: Ranges in 6. I don't like Philly and I don't want Hawk to wet this thread with the tears of unfathomable sadness.
Minnesota vs Colorado: Colorado in 5. Because spite. Fuck Minnesota. I met a lady from Minni the other day who got mad at me because I said the Tea Party were fringe lunatics. Now I hope her stupid hockey team loses. Chicago vs St Louis: Chicago in 6. Blues too beat up yo.
Dallas vs Anaheim: SELANNE. I honestly kind of think Dallas will win but this isn't the place for logic. Anaheim in like 2. LA Kings vs San Jose: This will go to nine games.
i do the same thing for my picks

homer apparently wants to play him like a top pairing guy after timmonen retires, which doesnt make sense because of how he's played thus far with not particularly hard minutes
anyone else putting up picks? It's quite the enigma, isn't it? Also, this link has some valuable insight for chances. While I'm okay with a casual fan not desirous to partake in #fancystats, this is very easy to understand. http://www.broadstreethockey.com/2014/4/16/5620450/scoring-chances-a-season-in-review-part-1SSS for MacD, but he's still terrible, and was for NYI. And has been for yeats.... and will be.... edit: and one of the main takeaways from the charts is that if you are a mobile defenseman who can pass you are way more valuable than "tough" dmen who like to hit.
that's a pretty cool break down. I wish the author threw in ozs in there because I would imagine that greatly influences your chances/chances against too.
but yeah, in the last couple of years, it has become really apparent that defensive defensemen means plugger who can't pass for shit most times. A guy who skates well and can pass isn't going to spend as much time in his own end, and isn't going to have as many turnovers.

Ducks are just wrecking Dallas. Completely dominating them.

really wanted stamkos to win it with a hat trick

man, spoke too soon. Budreau playoff hockey right there. Its amazing though, all 3 games today were incredibly sloppy, all looking like the pre-season, high scoring stuff.
|
Seguin slapshots Getzlaf straight into his jaw. Will he be ready for Game 2? If not then even if the Ducks win this game the Stars eek out a tiny advantage...
|
Dallas definitely made it interesting there
I wonder if that was just teeth or it broke Getzlaf's jaw. That looked painful, but he's a badass. I am sure he toughs it out.

man I just watched the highlight of that first ducks goal again. Such a pretty pass and move, damn.
According to Fuckin' Beaudareau (SP!), no broken jaw on that face shot. Getting stitched up now. I am sure he probably lost a few chicklets.

Ryan Miller has such a weak glove side, Halak looked better last playoffs.

Well, that was some utter domination by the Rangers. Score was tied for a long time for no reason at all. Rangers were killing the Flyers all game. Akeson's penalty was the final stroke yea, but things were bad from puck drop.

Kings are playing dumpster fire bad. They are lucky to be down only 5-0. It could easily be 8-0 or 9-0 right now.
