Davis says he helped investigate more than a dozen shootings by police at the agency. He says his superiors had no objections when his team recommended exonerating officers. The objections came, he says, after each finding that a shooting was unjustified. He says there were six of those cases.
“They have shot people dead when they did not have to shoot,” Davis said about those officers. “They were not in reasonable fear for their lives. The evidence shows that the officer knew, or should have known, that the person who they shot was not armed or did not pose a threat to them or could have been apprehended by means short of deadly force.” 1 in 400. No one anywhere has a 0.25% wrongful shooting rate. That fact alone shows me how utterly bullshit the investigations are.
Yeah it's all I could think about when people like O'Reilly use the statistics to back up their arguments.
As if the statistics don't obviously show either corruption or that police are superhuman.

Your posts seem mostly intended to stir shit up but this one does make me laugh.
The guy is the real deal and is kicking GOP ass.
What Sanders and Trump are showing is that people are taking control over the elections back from the parties.

I dont intentionally try to stir shit up its just I made a 100$ bet at the Atlantis sportsbook and Casino in Reno Nevada 3 weeks ago that Donald Trump would win the election and the odds were 13:1 so am happy hes doing so well (this coming from an american citizen who has no right to vote) lol

Don't you guys find this a bit frightening though? I mean the idea that Trump might end up being the president of the US is insane and even though many people think he doesn't have a real shot, the amount of support he's getting is astounding. A fucking loon like that? As a Canadian, I think it's cause for concern.
Get your ****ing shit together GOP.

Luckily the latest poll was mostly conducted before the McCain backlash. But keep in mind the other early frontrunners the GOP have had in recent years.
At the risk of sounding bi-partisan, I think it shows it's not the sane party most of the time. I understand a lot of conservatives hate idiots like Trump, Cain, etc. but a lot of them love them. I don't think wacko fringe candidates get nearly as much play from the left.
EDIT: And before anyone tries to throw Sanders in there, remember he's been in congress for 25 years. He's far left, but he's not fringe.

Someone like Jessie Jackson could get a lot of play in a Democratic primary. Or someone from La Raza. They just don't run for some reason or another.
|
It helps that the media love to talk about the crazier Republicans as well, instead of ignoring them or focusing on Democrats. All the left-wing news outlets can't get enough of Trump. Not only does it give him exposure, all the attacks will rally people around him.

Yeah, because the people who would vote for Trump watch leftwing news outlets......

It's been a while since Jessie ran. I don't know what his numbers looked like in the 80's, they might be better today. Sharpton gets laughed out of the race pretty quickly though.

Well, obviously Jessie has the affairs and his son's corruption, but just the general idea of a race-splintering Democratic candidate. I feel like such a candidate could pull 10-25%, and on a sustained basis (i.e. through Super Tuesday).

They still read, see the headlines. They are aware of what's going on. Most Trump news comes from left-wing or mainstream media outlets. Another day, another 15 Trump stories.

You haven't lived very long if Trump can't do any worse than what we have now. There's plenty to criticize about Obama, but Trump is something else.

Elon Musk? The guy who's business model is dependent on government subsidies?

People don't understand that the ability to tap into a vein of wealth (or, in the case of Trump, having been born in an empire which has been dwindling under him) does not necessarily translate well to politics. How is a man who's always had everything he ever wanted and never did proper politic going to fare in Washington. There, he'll fail at using diplomacy and run against a wall when congress won't put up with his shit. He'll try to bully people and fail. And if his speeches are any indication of his cognitive capabilities, foreign politics are going to be very ****ing hard for him.

However hard it may be for trump, it would still look like a streamlined vision of the future compared to Greece.

If Trump keeps up his shenanigans in office (if he gets there) I guarantee they'll impeach him before the first 100 days are over.
